      Came at multiple wrong times and did not repair the chair properly. I asked for a refund, but never received one. Sending supporting info by mail.

      The Furniture Doctor went out to the nursing home where  **** ***** lives on 5/10/23 . She said her recliner feels like sitting in a hole . I sat in the seat and felt nothing at all wrong with it . We flip it over to check it out . Everything was in perfect condition and told **** that . She insisted it had a problem so we told her that the only thing we could do was to add foam to the seat to improve it so we opened up the seat and added a whole bag of foam then closed it up . **** called us and said she still had a problem with the recliner so we set up another appointment , went back out there , and she was not home . We called her to find out what happened then she went off on us ! Insulting us when we were trying to help her ! So we told her that we are done with her recliner and there is nothing wrong with it !!! **** ***** is a hateful angry woman ! She Needs Jesus !!!

      This is in response to the correspondence from the above business.  The website is not letting me access the message, as it says it has expired.  I have been having physical therapy and had company, and have not had time to respond.  This is what I remember:

      1. I do not live in a nursing home.  It is a 55+ community apartment.

      2. What Mr. ******* took as insults were just my perception of my interaction with him. 

      3. He came on April 18 to see what was the problem and made a quote on it.  I then left town for a couple of weeks.

      4. He then said he would come on May 10 between 11:00 and 1:00.  However, he came at 9:00 a.m. and checked in at our building office as though he had never been here before.

      5. At the May 10 visit, he said he did not have the materials and would have to come back.  He left and came back in about 10 minutes carrying a small bag of batting, saying he dug around and found some.  When he went to repair it, he asked where I felt was the problem.  I told him that it felt like it was pushing me to the right.  That is where he put all of the batting.  The hole now feels it is on the left side. 

      6. I sent an email saying that I was not happy with the repairs.  He said he would come back on Friday, June 9 between 9 and 10 am.  On  Wednesday, June 7, I had an appointment for physical therapy.  When I came home, there was a voicemail that he had been at my apartment then!  Two days early!

      As a result of all of these issues, I said that I felt he did not know what/when he was doing.  He took that as an insult, when I was just stating my experience with him.  I thought perhaps he guaranteed his work and would return my $250.00 as I requested.  Apparently, this is not true. Also I have Jesus.  He is very important to me.

      Thank you for your help on this issue.  I have had to buy a new recliner on my social security.
