We would like to report a possible scam. We are sisters age 65 and 68. MG H32323837**3738383633H through ********, *** were in ********** on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 offering services. They inspected the foundation, which we knew had problems. They initially charged $10,000 for foundation work and repairing gutters. They wrote an itemized ticket for that amount and had one of us sign it and said they would give us a copy when the work was completed which we never received. They claimed to have found more foundation problems and charged a total of $40,000. They brought in equipment and a crew. However, they did not put in any pylons or major work. They patched a 6 foot crack in the basement with concrete and charged an additional $10,000. They were there about 4 hours at $50,000. They said they couldn&#**;t take a check and wanted cash, which we gave them. They were in and out of the house, not giving us much time to think or talk. After they completed their work, they didn&#**;t leave a receipt, not even for the original signed copy for $10,000. We didn&#**;t realize this until later. They also took the flyer off the table when we weren&#**;t looking which had the company phone number and information. So we had no way to contact them. Three days later on Friday, March 1st, the supervisor returned at 7:45 am and wanted to bring in a crew to take care of the black mold in the basement. I told him that I felt we were way over charged and questioned that it was in cash. I told him I wanted the itemized bill and receipt. He said that he would be back with the papers at 10 am, but he never came back. It&#**;s been 2 weeks, the gutters still leak and we aren&#**;t sure about the work done. We have no way to contact them.Thank you for any help. We hope this doesn&#**;t happen to anyone else.
