August 2nd All Klear came to our house to fix our a/c that had went out. It was supposed to be something like $79 to come out and $79 to diagnose. Unbeknownst to us the technician ran a $375.00 test without our consent or approval, and then proceeds to advise us that there is 5 leaks on our a/c. They attempted to sell many deals upwards of $1700 on this visit, but finally we paid $754, after putting one pound of freon in, doing the test, and tightening the leaks. The guy had me sign his tablet twice stating that the second signature was security on the tablet or something. More on that later. So, the very next day the air was out again, I called All Klear so that they could come figure out what was going on, and the guy on the phone was ridiculous, stating that they were going to charge weekend rates, etc. I told him absolutely not, that he better call a manager and figure this out, and the guy on the phone was very much smart-alecky. So someone comes out, and runs the same expensive test, for no charge, and now there is a giant leak in the coil, one that couldn't be missed. Now we will need a new coil which they said is around the same price as a new system, then at the end of the visit it got way cheaper. Now we realize the system is 10 years old and it's time for these problems, it's the way these things were handled, and the lack of professionalism and misleading statements. So when we sign as this guy is leaving, he says the second signature on the tablet is stating that we are very satisfied with his visit... so I guess read before you sign anything. They are coming back to give us another quote, but the trust has been so broken down at this point we would not recommend this company to anyone, much less trust them to install an entirely new system. They should have offered to come back free of charge without hassle given what we spent within 24 hours, and they should have stated why they missed the HUGE leak in the coil, but found 5 small leaks. On 4/8/24 we had All Klear come out to look at some plumbing issues we were having at our house. That day the technician offered us a membership that would include discounts on future projects and he also claimed it would give us the option to finance larger projects and all we would have to do is pay half up front and the rest would be paid monthly with no interest. We knew we had a large project upcoming so with that in mind we accepted and purchased the membership. Then on 4/30/24 they came out to complete the project did all the work and left and we got a call from their office requesting payment. At that time they told us the financing was not an option and claimed thats not a feature of the membership and we would have to pay the whole cost that day which we were not told and not prepared for. We requested to have the membership cancelled and the manager said they would refund it to us and we paid the entire invoice that day in good faith despite being blatantly lied to and being unprepared to do so. Since the manager agreed to refund our invoice we still have not received said refund and I again called and followed up on 5/17/24 and was told they would work on the refund however its now been another 2+ weeks and no refund has been issued. I need a resolution to this asap or I may be forced to take legal action due to this bait and switch tactic.Business response

Thankfully I have not used them myself, because this business is extremely unprofessional. My neighbor is currently using them to fix their pipes and when I arrived home from work this afternoon, I came home to part of my yard being torn up, part of it covered in mounds of soil and they also had a huge *** *** Excavator parked in our yard, which tore up our grass. When I asked them to if they could please move it off my property, they gave me attitude and said it would be moved by Monday. My wife and I work very hard to keep our lawn nice and green.. they’re going to kill it by doing this and they had no right. The neighbor had plenty of space on their property so it makes no sense for this company to damage our property and our yard just because they are lazy.Customer response

The company requested that the bad review be removed from the site and that we give them time to fix them problem they caused.

I am sorry for disturbing your yard. The city sewer main is in an easement in your yard next to the road. The neighbor’s sewer connection is very close to the property line. There are gas lines in the area we had to dig. To be safe we had to dig a little in your yard. We do our best to keep this at a minimum. We did have to leave the ditch open over the weekend to let the city do an inspection on Monday. We will backfill the area and seed and straw the area. I am sorry this happened and please contact me, Dennis @ 417-890-6009, if we need to do anything for you. We are very serious about our customer service.
