  I called to have a shower installed for my mother. We paid him to buy parts. He has done a little bit but he made a mess. We have no written contract with him. He said he would put in shower door for ******. He is denying this.

  When I spoke to **** earlier, I stated that I had three options for my satisfaction. 
  1. Finish the job

  2. Give our $2650 back

  3. GIVE US THE 3pc SHOWER KIT WE PAID FOR & the 42 GLASS SHOWER DOOR FOR THE MASTER BATH. WE ALSO PD FOR THAT, upfront. 
   
  We paid him on Jan 10, for the 3 pc shower kit & Jan 17 for the glass shower door for the other bath. 
  The point was not made that he Did come to our home, repeatedly, work for a few hours-but only every once in a While did he or his helper ever SHOW UP, when he said they would!  He will not return any calls or texts from myself or my husband to resolve this dispute!  The money was taken from a 95 year old woman & a disabled person also. He or his company have been reported on other websites for stealing up to $10,000 from one person, & another &7,500 from another. He will take your money, do a little work, then not respond back to his customers or even Block their phone calls & texts!  This all started as him doing a good job!  He had to redo the plumbing for the new shower kit, because I asked if I could put in a different shower head to match the new shower kit!  His helper installed a new bath Sink, which was Extra. I had ordered it to match the new shower fixtures. It was fine !!! But then he just STOPPED COMING OR COMMUNICATING W/**! I told the BBB, he basically stole an old womans last dime!  She doesnt have any money to hire a completely different company to come in and install it - BUT WE DO NOT HAVE THE 3 PIECES FOR THE SHOWER WALLS, THE ***** ***** IS GONE! He left an open HOLE IN THE SHOWER PAN ***** THAT GOES DIRECTLY INTO OUR CRAWL SPACE!! We have it covered up with a weighted box!  Also I asked for him to install a new light fixture (extra) for the main bathroom. Our home is left with Open HOT ELECTRICAL WIRING ON THE ***** And no faceplate even covering the light switch!  A lot of this is not ******************* fault. Other than he left a completely Unskilled person in our home to do work we hired Him to do!  I have LOTS of pictures & Every text ever sent between the two of us, beginning in Oct. 2033, when I first contacted him about taking the bathtub out & installing a big shower SO AN AIDE FROM HER DRs ADVISE SUGGESTED WE HAVE, COME OUT & BATHE MY **THER ONCE A WEEK!  This started in January 2024!  Her Dr comes to her house (we live w/her), once a month & just last week asked, Hows the shower situation coming?  I said, its NOT. She raised her eyebrows & again asked me How Im bathing my Mother!  I told her Im buying these washcloths from Amazon that say you can bathe w/them and no need to rinse off! Just make a lather under water, wash your body, & dry off! I had been Trying , unsuccessffully, to give her a shower in the master bath shower-the one w/the cracked glass on the door but its impossible for me to get in it w/ her to bathe her properly. And just a few days ago my Mother FELL IN HER BATHROOM & Hot Her Head right on the part of the glass door with the crack in it!  Were Very lucky the glass didnt crumble & rain down all over her. We had to call EMS to come & get her off the floor. They agreed, it couldve been a Horrible conclusion to her fall!

  I Dont want him or his company to do this (like I said, which he has, many times, to any Other Unsuspecting customers!!!

   I do plan to follow up with a complaint to the ** *************** & our local news dept.

  I sent Another addtl letter to you earlier, but I dont know if you received it!  
  This is NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE COMPLAINT I told to Your BBB ***** ***** by phone earlier today!!!!

  1st, **** Campbell dab Campbell Construction took Two checks from us in Jan. 10,24. One from my 95 yr old mother for $1500. The other from my husband & my checking acct on Jan 10, 24. 
  **** told us he needed the money Up Front to Purchase #1, a shower, tub replacement kit. That was the $1500 check. He was to remove the bathtub in the main bath of my mothers home. We also lie w/her, as we had dementia & has great difficulty just getting around the house with a ******. Her Dr (who comes to our home to see my mother, once a month from *** Hospitak Health at Home, suggested we have the tub removed & a Big walk-in shower put in instead so they could send an aide rom *** Health at Home to come here once a week & bathe her!  **** Campbell took her check to his bank Immediately & cashed it. I have copies (front & back) of the two checks that we wrote Mr ********************* Then on Jan 17, we asked him to also replace the broken glass dirt thats in my mothers master bathroom. Its just cracked at the bottom in the corner but still could be dangerous!  I have pictures, the first dated Feb 18, showing our bathtub taken out & just sat on the side of our house & Left there, for us to deal with, I guess. Luckily I knew someone who would come & haul it off so we werent embarrassed from our neighbors looking out of their kitchen window to see a Bathtub in their window!  The second check (for a 42 glass shower door, was written by my husband & I For my mother, as she is Literally down to her last dollar!  ************ come & do a lot of work!  But also, gave so many Ridicilious excuses Why he couldnt  work this or that day that its almost comical!  
  I told ***** when he asked, do what do you want? I want him to Finish the job, #2, Give us the 3piece shower kit we Paid him for in January & He still has in his possession!  He HAS NOT EVEN DELIVERED THE MATERIALS, I call them, to our home!  No shower kit, No shower door for bathroom # 2!!!!!

  I told **** that we have called & texted him for FOUR MONTHS NOW & he will NOT RETURN OUR CALLS OR TEXTS, & has probably Blocked our phone numbers from his phone!

  He was supposed to work one day last week. I have the text copied. He said Ill be there tomorrow & install the wall panels & have the holes for the plumbing cut out & ready to install. My Husband then started trying to communicate with him. **** expressed that he did Not want to deal with me anymore cause I was always interrupting them working with my talking to them!  Well, hes Supposedly a Friend. He comes in our home, hugs my mom & me & continues to say were family!  **** put in the complaint I wanted to: Have the job completed, get my money back get my money back!!! NO MENTION OF HIM JUST GIVING US THE ***** WE HAD PAID HIM FOR, totaling $2600, BTW. IM NOW SOOOO EMBARRASSED for **** Campbell, our supposed friend to read this ridiculous COMPLAINT!  IT MAKES ME SOUND LIKE AN IDIOT!  He Knows hes doing us wrong. He has stolen from Other people in ************ **. One in the *** of $10,000, one $7,500. One person said he has hundreds of lawsuits against him!  ***** from Your ****** suggested I Call the Atty ******** ****** to file a complaint!  Well, Im afraid that if he reads the complaint that ******** went to our contractor, h*** think its a Joke of a Complaint!!! It says I paid for a shower. No mention of the fact that we PAID FOR IT IN JANUARY!  No mention that he REFUSES TO ANSWER OUR CALLS OR TEXTS, makes excuses Why he cant come, (2 or 3 people have Died, his Wife is a Crazy alcoholic who had gone Mad that day & was screaming, crying, slashed one of the tires of his truck!!!, his worker had CRUSHED HIS HAND,, possibly Broken it!  The next day his worker Did show up to work. This was just last week!  I asked how his hand was & he showed me how his finger got smashed & ssked me if I couldnt see where it was still KINDA SWOLLEN, which I could not!  Since he indicated he didnt want to have anything more to do with me, my Husband started texting him, finally just like me getting No Response!  He (****) Did PROMISE 100% Promise to be here the next day to work! Then later that day was the day his helper Smashed his hand ~ NOT!

  After Four Month of having our Main bathroom torn up, jfor months, only 2X4s showing where the bathtub Had been. He ripped out the Whole wall to install waterproof drywall, I guess. Then the last time his helper worked, last week he left the bathroom where you couldnt even SEE TGE TOILET, NO LIGHTS IN THE BATHROOM , LIVE ELECTRICITY COMING OUT OF THE ***** only having been told (over his helpers Speaker phone to just turn off the switch at the wall, it would turn off the current), I gave the guy some electrical tape to cover the wires that were showing. All that stupid kid did was put my elect. Tape on the Orange wire nuts that were Aleeady covered (meaning no tape necessary. Even I know that!  So he proceeded to TAPE OVER the orange plastic wire nuts with the elect tape, but LEAVING 5 or 6 Wires STILL STICKING OUT OF TVE WALL!  He also left he cover plate Off of the electric switch on the wall. I had to take it off, because it was obvious to me he was just going to paint around it, **** DID on the **** outlet that had a nightlight in it. I have a pic of where he even got paint on the Nightlight!  Obviously telling me he didnt take the face plate off when he painted the walls!  He also got white paint specks all over the New BLACK ******* he had just installed a week or Month earlier!  I left him with a Huge bag of plastic drop cloths, all plastic. It wasobvious  he hadnt used any of them!  **** took the Drain out of the floor when he took the tub out. Its in our garage & we now are left with A HOLE DIRECTLY TO THE CRAWLSPACE UNDER EARH OUR HOUSE!

  Hes Obviously a theif. Even stealing/ doing the Same thing, charging & taking money from the people that had employed his own Mother for ***** years!  He stole their money & didnt complete their job either!

  He has repeatedly Stolen, Taken other peoples money, Up Front, again saying he needed the money for supplies, etc. he Does show up & do SOME WORK, then GHOSTS HIS CUSTOMERS!! Leaving Many Out of their Money & an incomplete job!!

  I fully intend to get a resolution from Al of this!  I am a very determined person. Although I am disabled. (HE STOLE FROM THE ELDERLY AND THE DISABLED). I do Wish you could or would Make an Attempt to CORRECT MY COMPLAINT & make it say. Basically , he took our money in Jan, worked here & there. Left our house in ruins, and I want it to state that my resolution is to be: 1. Finish the job 

  2. Deliver the 3 piece shower kit we paid for & he Says he ha, And the shower door we paid for, 

  3. last option. Give us our money back!

  I hired **** to put in a furnace, hot water heater and A/C. He didn't put any place in there for a filter. He told me he would come out periodically and change my filters. He didn't come back to do it. He always had excuses as to why he couldn't come out. Now he doesn't answer my calls. I had another company come out and they said there's no where to put any filters.

  First of all that job has been done for a long time that lady, her granddaughter and son are my best friends. They have a lot of problems with that lady from a mental illness. I have bent over backwards for that lady and done an extreme amount of free services for her. I did make one excuse to not go over there one time because I had Covid. I guess she does not remember that for everybody safety I canceled and rescheduled. I rescheduled and I went over there and she was not home. I called her family members and told them that I was there and she did not answer the door  to despite she left and forgot to tell me that job has been done for a long time. I do not understand why she made a complaint. I think her family is going to call her or get a hold of her about this complaint as well. I am going to go to my business attorney  and I will most likely be filing a slander complaint in court. Therefore I Hill and sodas, her family members that I have went above and beyond extras to see fit to do extra repairs at her house, because her family lives out of state, the other immediate family that lives here I have been in touch with, and they are aware of her actions, you might want to reach out to her and ask her if she’s sure that her filters are in.
