      I used their services for about 2 years without any major problems. Then I get a text out of the blue on a Sunday that they would not longer be able to visit my dogs for their afternoon potty break. That's all I had them do. The text said that they didn't have a worker who could make it to the Northside anymore and that I needed to find other arrangements. Funny that my location wasn't a problem for 2 years. Anyway, I was told this on a Sunday when I relied on their services in 2 days. I was able to scramble and luckily found a trustworthy family member to take over. So I ask them to please drop my house keys off. *Frankly, I had no desire to use them anymore because they became unreliable*. I'm then told my keys were mailed to my house the day before. WHY WOULD YOU MAIL HOUSE KEYS TO THE HOUSE THEY UNLOCK?! I asked if they were mailed certified and hoped they were so I would need to be home to receive them. It's been 7 hours since I asked and no reply yet. Basic common sense, don't mail house keys to the fricking house they unlock!

      Per your text "You can drop the key in mailbox". Im happy to share the screenahot with you if needed. Like many businesses across the nation we have a staffing shortage. Thankfully when your sitter quit with no notice, you were able to rely in your cousin (who was usually there Monday and Tuesday already). I wish you well on your journey.

      DO NOT use this company. We say the great reviews and for the 1st time we decided they seemed reliable enough to care for our furbabies. I was very VERY wrong. So the first person I talked to never even showed up for their consultation. Then I was assigned another one, Kat. At first she was very nice and I was very comfortable for her to care for my animals. I left notes around the house for her with toys and treats that were still in toy box when I got home. And the treats were never given out.She was also suppose to bring in the mail but instead it was left in the mail box and front porch. The only thing she did was scoop the boxes and fed the cats. I had bottled water literally right next to their fountain that only 1/2 gallon was used when we ere gone for 10 days?Then I tried to text *** and nothing and then texted and called again nothing. I was in ******* and wasn't even sure anyone was taking care of them at this point. The worse part was when I called and spoke to *******.SHE HAD NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHAT SO EVER!!! Never have I spoke to someone so rude. I wanted to know why their toys weren't put out or treats not given or the fact that there was bottled water for my cats that was never used and 2 of my Boys have problems with crystals in their urine so they can't have tap water. Thus the bottled water that was to be used. The litter boxes were just scooped and no new was put in top and there were 2 full unopened containers of litter right next to the boxes.So do yourself a favor and find someone else to care for your furry family members while you are gone out of town and not this horrible company.

      ******, Thank you for giving us this opportunity to address your concerns regarding your recent experience with 417 Pet Sitting. 1. You are correct. The sitter initially assigned to you did miss your consultation, as her mother died. As soon as we found out, we assigned a new sitter, ***, and scheduled a new consultation. 2. It was our understanding your mail was being held until your return. A package was delivered after *** did her daily visit on the last day of your service. We understand you were frustrated the package was on your front porch, as it contained the medication to treat the flea infestation *** made you aware of after her first visit. It is against our policy, and a federal offense to open our clients' mail. It is also not advisable to use treatment on pets without consulting your vet first, especially when they are left alone after initial treatment. 3. When we spoke on the phone, you confirmed that the cats fountains were full, had food, and their litter boxes were cleaned out. *** fulfilled all the responsibilities required by the service agreement. 4. *** did give treats to your cats from the already opened bags of treats. She played with the toys in the toy boxes; however, she did not open the new toys as she did not want them to be infested with fleas. 5. We understand you were unhappy with your phone interaction. Since you were speaking in an extremely raised voice, it was difficult to explain our understanding of the events or ascertain how you wanted the situation resolved, which is why we simply offered to return your keys to you immediately so you could make arrangements with another company in the future. At which point you claimed you'd leave bad reviews and hung up the phone. Thank you for giving us the details of your frustrations. We hope your concerns have been addressed.
