Shortly after we moved in we had a water leak coming through a light fixture. We submitted an insurance claim and then started looking for someone to do the repairs. Through the BBB I found American Build and Restoration owned by ***** Torres. When ***** came out to look at our roof I explained our situation. I tried to give him a copy of the insurance estimates and he wouldn't even look at it and did a complete inspection of his own on our home and roof. ***** found our roof was in bad condition unknown to us when we purchased it. (we had to have an inspection done in order to get financing and were not made aware of the issues) He took the time to sit down and explain what the issues are and was very in depth and shared his knowledge of the damages and causes etc. I had no idea we should have contacted someone to inspect it before we contacted our insurance. Days later I received a phone call and he said he was working on something and would get back with me. To my surprise when he called me back and said that he had spoken with his supplier and the supplier was going to donate shingles to do a complete new roof and ***** is going to donate labor and other needed materials! I just thought it would be nice to recognize an honest business and contractor that is legit and doesn't take advantage of people, especially those that are disabled. We are barely getting by with all of our medical expenses, making house payments and lot rent and could never have been able to afford a new roof that was really needed.I feel like this is a story worth sharing that there are honest and upfront businesses out there. I contacted 3 companies and he was the only one that showed up. This has truly been an amazing Blessing for us! I would highly recomend this business and will be using them for future needs
