    I ordered two weeks of meals from Metabolic Meals. My initial delivery arrived late due to shipping delays. I had already ordered the second week when I received the first week. I decided the method of delivery and the date delivered were not going to work with my schedule so I decided to cancel. The site states you can cancel at any time. I am not trying to cancel the order due to arrive this week, but I do not want my credit card left on the site and the instructions are very ambiguous. When I reached out to customer service I received an email stating turn off the service which is not explained anywhere how to do that. I want the service turned off and my credit card info deleted.

    I have cancelled my subscriptions for food delivery and yet they keep sending me the food and billing me, I have received emails from them saying that they are aware and will update the cancellation in the system, but the food deliveries have not stop, and this is more than I can eat or store in my home.

    Metabolic meals allows you to choose meals to order and be delivered or to skip the order for the week. I skipped the order for the week of 1/7/2025. I confirmed on Friday, 1/2/25 that the order was skipped. I get an email today, 1/7/2025 to look out for my delivery coming this week. These meals cost $12-14 a pop and due to the holiday I had a negative balance in my account. that automatic payments come out of. This is how I know I skipped the order, because I did not transfer money to the automatic account. ********************** charged my account anyway and are sending me meals I did not choose. I am looking for a refund for their negligence.

    We did inform this customer the following "I do show a **** on your account, however, it is for the week of Jan 13th." Our system shows they ****ped the wrong week, and on top of that we offered to provide a credit towards a future order and they get to keep the order.

    Have repeatedly skipped and tried to cancel my account after my first delivery and the rudeness that came from that email. Have tried to call the company with the number listed on their site and get a response that says no agents available to take your call. Today I was charged for a delivery that is supposed to be here on Dec 24th that I did not approve or choose! Contacted the company and they told me they would try to issue a credit for me to use at a later date. I dont want a credit. I want my money back for a delivery thats coming that I didnt place and on a date I wont be home. I should have read all the complaints and reviews here and on trust pilot before placing an order. Who knew businesses still conducted themselves in this manner.

    Customer reached out to us only 1 once Thursday 10:14 am 24 hours after the deadline and few hours after the order was billed.

    We replied within mins Thursday 10:21 am - letting them know that we will try our best to flag the order and stop but since the deadline has passed we can not promise anything.

    I cant cancel my subcription. When I call the number it immediately says there is no one available to answer the call and I have sent multiple emails with no response. I want them to cancel my meals and stop charging my credit card. The site says you can cancel at any time, but that is not true.

    Same as most every other complaint on this company. They do not make it known you are signing up for a subscription, so meals were chosen for me without my approval and my credit card was charged. To make matters worse, my first order was for 6 meals and they auto-selected 8 meals. This is an extremely misleading and unethical business model, and by the looks of their BBB score, I am far from the only one who has been taken advantage of. Their customer support offers no apology or rectification - only templated email replies. I am seeking full reimbursement of $121.57 put back on my credit card immediately.

    I signed up after seeing it was a non-recurring subscription meal service and got my first box. Then a week later I was charged $148.93 for meals I never agreed to or chose. I'm away week for business when the meals will arrive! I would like a refund as I never approved this choice and no commuciations! Awful!

    This customer used to have an account with us under a different email which they closed because they are realized we are in a subscription service. They reopened under a different email address which caused their account to be created as a different customer. At this time that is the reason we did not cancel or honor a refund.

    I am not sure we can say at this point. As the customer signed up with a different email address which caused it a different account was opened. A year ago the system was subscription service and this week it's still the same. The customer was aware that we are subscription service, if you create a new account the subscription will be created.

    Placed original order on 10/25/24 for 6 meals for $47.94 as a trial offer. When I originally ordered, I was under the impression the service was an on-demand service, and I will only be charged when I order meals. Their marketing emails sent to me implied the same thing, order by this date, receive by that date. I was never told and was not aware they would be charging my card and picking meals for me, if I did not order them myself. So, I check my credit card every day, and noticed a pending charge for $125.87 on 11/08/24 from them. I did not receive any email confirming an order, but logged into the account to find they placed an order for me. I called them- it went straight to voicemail. I emailed them, expressing my dissatisfaction and asking them to cancel the order and refund me. They told me I signed up for a subscription and they could not cancel the order because it was already processing. I replied, arguing I never received anything telling me I signed up for a subscription and was completely unaware of the fact. I called and emailed multiple times afterwards, and they are now ignoring me. I felt like I was being bullied. I stated that I would refuse delivery and still no response. When the order arrived I did refuse delivery. I disputed the charge on my credit card. In spite of trying to cancel the service I still receive email that a order is coming. I have on several occasions made a effort to cancel the service.

    After placing an order for 6 meals, which I chose and authorized, the following week they unknowingly charged my card for 8 meals that they chose and I wouldnt have ordered for myself. My card was charged on 11/1 and I contacted them that same day to cancel, but they claim my order has already been processed even though the meals werent to be delivered until 11/7. Their website boasts commitment-free but their business practices are shady at best. Just read the other complaints. Im not the only one.

    Our system is commit-free, as long as you place your cancel by the deadline. This customer reached out 48 hours past the deadline has the deadline was Oct 30th. When working with Food we have tight deadlines that we have start on as we are ordering ingredients for 1000's of orders which is why we can not just cancel orders, let alone 48 hours past the deadline. We did email the customer everyday as reminder to pick ********************** or skip the current live menu which our system shows those emails were opened by them.

What is buried in their website is the fact they will choose for you if you dont place an order, and NO WHERE does it say it will be for 8 meals. My initial order was only for 6.

    Placed original order on 10/17/24 for 9 meals for $98.89. Meals were delivered 10/30/24. When I originally ordered, I was under the impression the service was an on-demand service, and I will only be charged when I order meals. I even emailed and spoke via phone with a representative about how the process works, and they assured me I order the meals by Tuesday, and will receive them the following week. Their marketing emails sent to me implied the same thing, order by this date, receive by that date. I was never told and was not aware they would be charging my card and picking meals for me, if I did not order them myself. So, I check my credit card every day, and noticed a pending charge for $138.03 on 10/31/24 from them. I did not receive any email confirming an order, but logged into the account to find they placed an order for me. It was after business hours, so first thing the next morning I called them- it went straight to voicemail. I called another number I had that they had called me from. Same thing- straight to voicemail. I emailed them, expressing my dissatisfaction and asking them to cancel the order and refund me. They told me I signed up for a subscription and they could not cancel the order because it was already processing. I replied, arguing I never received anything telling me I signed up for a subscription and was completely unaware of the fact. I called and emailed multiple times afterwards, and they are now ignoring me. I did a little research on BBB and Reddit, and found many people having the exact same issue.
