    I came from out of state and purchased a F-350 from Laura **** and the purchase experience was fantastic, one of the best experiences I had. It was overshadowed by an issue was not handled and completely ignored. 3 days after getting the truck developed an issue. Normally no big deal a simple warranty replacement, well the truck had lead acid batteries and I decided that I didn't want those and upgraded the batteries to AGMs out of pocket and turned the oem batteries in as a core charge. Later I learn from my salesman that Laura **** changed out the batteries the day I came to buy the truck because they were dead, but they didn't disclose that until after I told them the truck had bad batteries. Then I learned that the truck was supposed to come with AGM batteries so I never should have had to upgrade the batteries. I reached out to the dealer with this information and sent pictures and requested to be compensated for the out-of-pocket purchase since Laura **** changed the batteries and the wrong ones were installed. The text was ignored, and my phone call was never returned. Basically, they washed their hands of me and went silent $400 worth of batteries. I know people make mistakes it's not that big of a deal just own the mistake and make it right. However, due to the complete lack of communication I can only assume that they stole the batteries and knowingly installed the wrong batteries. I cannot for this reason recommend this dealership. I waited to make this review because the issue was further compounded due to the truck having a parasitic draw that left the vehicle at another dealership for 37 days. It really ***** buying a new vehicle then loosing if for repair after 3 days of ownership. Like I said though I dont blame Laura **** for the issue with the truck, just the issue with the incorrect batteries. Which would have been an easy fix IMO to a otherwise good experience. At the end of day, I am out $400 for Laura ****s mistake or theft.

    The *** batteries were not available from FAD ***** Authorized Distributor) at the time the batteries needed to be replaced. We replaced them with an equivalent charge battery that was available from the warehouse at the time. To date, there are still a limited amount of AMG batteries available from the **** The only texts or phone calls that show in our system is when the customer was contacted by our sales person and asked how the truck was performing. The customer let him know about the batteries dying and the sales person let him know that the batteries had been replaced. The salesperson asked to be kept informed of any further issues. After the response of "Will do" from the customer, there was no further communication.The issue with the truck causing the batteries to drain (parasitic draw) is a warranty issue and was handled by ***** We were not aware of the issue up front and assumed that the batteries needed to be replaced due to cold February weather and the fact that the vehicle was not run regularly. The original batteries would have been returned at the time of replacement for the same core return that the customer spoke of above. We do not re-use batteries, resell batteries or keep batteries after we replace them.
