I took a dog to this doctor. When I got the dog home her was experiencing complications. I took him back and he apologized and said the next service would be free. I saw him making it right. I had a second dog that had a tumor on tongue. They took care of the ****, but the dog will have to have surgery. I asked if they took checks. They said yes. I had witnesses. I took my dog for the procedure and I asked again if they took checks. They said yes. When I went to pick up the dog, they said they did not take checks. They wanted me to sign my dog over to them. They also raised the amount of the procedure by $200. My grandfather had to take the police with him to pay for the procedure and the doctor reduced the price back to the original amount. I want people to be aware of his practice.

This business had to see all my pets for 4 years. When I was out of town one of my cats stopped using his hind legs. I had a friend bring my cat into their clinic so they could look at him. I had talked to one of the ladies at the front desk and specifically asked her to have the doctor call me before they did anything after the pet was seen. She assured me they would and took down my number. I received a call from the vet later that day telling me they did x-rays. I explained to the vet that I did not OK x-rays and I wanted a phone call before they did anything after the physical exam had been completed. ********* apologized and said it was her understanding I had verbally given consent. When I told her that was not the case she spoke with the front office who then told her my friend signed the estimate with x-rays on it and said we would do whatever. At this point I got off the phone and called my friend to see what the deal was. My friend informed me that she did not sign the estimate although they asked her to and she told them also they needed to call me before they did anything because she wasnt sure what we would be able to do. I called the vet back and told them this and they told me there was nothing they could do. They then told me I needed to pay my **** in full in order to get any medications. I told them I could not afford to pay the **** in full and if they would have called me before they did the x-rays they would have known that. I ended up putting down $100 so that they would release my cat to my friend so that I could have my son be able to see him over face time in case he passed away before we got home. The cat survived until we got home. I then called the veterinarians office again and explain the situation again. I told them that I needed to see the signed estimate before I would pay the ****. They told me that they could not release any of the patient records to me until the **** was paid in full. I told them I do not want the patient records I just need to see a physical copy of that signed estimate. They forwarded me on to their office manager. Their office manager looked for the signed estimate and was unable to find a physical copy. She said she would talk with the head *********************** about getting the x-rays taken off of my **** since there was no physical copy of a signed estimate. She then told me she would talk to **************** and get the x-rays taken off my **** since there was not a physical copy of the signed estimate saying it was OK. She then referred me to ***************************** clinic in Manchester. I took my pet to The new veterinarian they saw him and sent him home with some medications. They told me to follow up with my regular vet. Two days after he got seen with that veterinarian I was having issues getting him to keep down one of the medications. I called the animal Medical Center of Troy to see if they would do an injection of prednisone since thats the medication he could not keep down. They informed me that they would be able to do the injection after my **** was paid in full. I expressed that I thought the x-rays were going to be taken off my **** since There was no physical evidence that anybody had okayed the x-rays in the first place. ****** then told me that **************** is not going to take them off my **** because they performed the x-rays so they needed payment for them. I then informed them that I would be removing all of my pets from their clinic and I needed the history on my other two pets that are not involved in this case. They informed me they could not give me any of my pets histories until my **** was paid in full.
