I was inform through Facebook that people bank and trust internet system was down and ATM’s Debit cards and direct deposit was not available. So no one has access to their money. We need your help.Business response

Great, here is our response:
The President of Peoples Bank & Trust Co., ****** *** ******, personally called Ms. ******** on July 7 and informed her that even though our network was down, she would have access to her payroll funds. He told her she could come in to any bank branch and withdraw her payroll funds in cash. Ms. ******** was able to come to the branch that same day and withdrew cash.
In the complaint filed with the BBB, the customer requested a refund. She did not incur any fees during the time the network was unavailable. Therefore, there is nothing for the bank to refund.
While we understand Ms. ******** was frustrated during our network issues, we did make her funds available to her and spoke with her over the phone to let her know she would have access to her funds.
