ASAP Appliance Repair Service is advertising a "free service call with any repairs over $59.00" on its website. My wife saw the offer and booked a repair of our washing machine, assuming the offer would be honored, but it was not. We were charged the $89 service call fee and the repairs cost $209. I called the business and spoke with ****, who said that offer is no longer valid and needs to be taken down from the website. He said the offer was put on the site in 2017 when they first started the business but was only valid for the first year, but remains on the website. He then got defensive and said he could revoke any offer at any time and offered to give me $30, which isn't what the offer said. ASAP Appliance Repair Service is misleading consumers by not taking this invalid offer off their website and then saying it won't be honored anymore when asked about it. Unethical, misleading business practice

Firstly, the customer had not mentioned this offer until the technician had completed the work and left the customers home almost 3 hours after. The customer initiated the call asking for the discount after the work was completed. Although the offer the customer is referring to was still posted on our website. We had discontinued this offer years prior. Our marketing partner had failed to remove it. After explaining this to the customer, he accused the company of a bait and switch tactic. I assured him that wasnt the case and offered to refund $30, but the customer refused the offer. He only wanted to threaten me with complaint to the BBB. I advised once again we reserved the right to revoke the offer and once again, the free service call was never mentioned until after the transaction was complete. The call was then terminated, but I still reached out via message and offered to refund $30 of the repair cost, but the customer was not looking to resolve the issue whatsoever. At this point their only prerogative was to make accusations and damage tye reputation of our company. I have since removed all verbiage and offers from our website.
