On December 3, 2022, I was charged correctly for the purchase and installation of a water heater. The charge was $2,250. On December 20, 2022, I was charged another $2,250. I contacted Authority Plumbing and was told there was an error with QuickBooks, and they would reverse the charge on my card. After a few days, I called again as the charge had not been reversed. They were apologetic and said they would reverse the charge that day. On January 5, 2023, I called a third time as the charge had still not been reversed. They said while I was charged a second time by QuickBooks, they (Authority Plumbing) did not receive a second payment and there was nothing more than they could do. They have admitted this is a double charge for the same service but say they cannot fix the issue, so my card still has a second charge for $2,250. I have contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge.Customer response

The issues has been resolved, and I would like to close or retract the complaint.
