  On 12/15/23 we contacted Drain Masters Plumbing, ********************************************** Cleanup about our basement drain backing up. ***** the Service tech used a camera on the line 117 feet out to the main which I did see was full of roots. He originally quoted us $484 to run a snake out to the main to clear. He then said he would use the Hydro Jet method which was over $800. He indicated this should last approximately 2-3 years based on his experience which we thought was a good idea since we were paying to have drain cleaned out every 4-5 months. Well fast forward to May 18, 2024 some 5 months later it backs up again. I called Drain Masters and spoke to a girl in ths office and she indicated she would have someone call me. ***** called me back and said he would come out and check out for a $79 service fee. He also indicated at a minimum we would spend another $450 to have the drain cleared. I stated I was not giving them anymore money and indicated I was not happy. This is a complete ripoff of the consumer and would advise other consumers to avoid this company!! We had another drain company come out and clear for $130.

  The plumbing technician broke a drain line he was cleaning out. Numerous calls and complications with the service company. I did have to contract with another company to repair the faulty work. Drain Master did refund 50% of their fees for actions of the technician, while I appreciate that is did cost me another $167.00 for repairs and I asked this be refunded. The 50% was for all the other issues stemming from the service call and was offered before the repair costs where known. I have tried to speak to the owner via email and phone, she will not return my call. Her sister in law is the office manager and just says we asked her to call. Others in the office have answered saying your concern was forwarded. The service work was also $700 to clear a drain line after coupon applied, the technician was there 1.5 hours and left the job with a patch to the broken work. I think it is appropriate the repair work amount be refunded on top of the refund.

  On 5/25/22 we had Drain Masters come to our house at night for an emergency sewer back up. We were quoted $475 over the phone due to the time of night and were aware of this. We were desperate for the help so went ahead with it. The man that arrived water jetted the sewer line to clear the pipes of whatever caused it to back up into the basement. He never came in and checked the drain from inside, nor had us run any faucets. On 8/17/22 our sewer again backed up. I called Drain Masters since they were just at our house recently, and the man on the phone quoted me $59 service call and said that he could snake it... When he got to our house, he told my husband the fee to snake the drain is $475. We were aggravated and told him no because we were not told this over the phone! He also said he had to take our check for $59 and literally did nothing! It was a complete waste of our money! There is absolutely no reason to not let us know that it would be that much over the phone. We paid $475 for a night time call 2 1/2 months ago, and this another $475 was quoted when you get to our house in the afternoon. What a rip off. The guy that cleaned the drain in May did not do a very good job per a different plumbing company that actually augered it properly. I am requesting money back as the plumbing job done in May by Drain Masters was not done properly and for $475 and to come to our house and call you back in such a short amount of time, you collect $59 doing nothing, it is a complete rip off!

  I had water in my basement. I called them and they came out and cabled the H313231363838**323738H. I paid them $343. When they had initially showed up and run the cable inside. My husband asked about outside and the tech said no they can do it inside and repair the issue. There was a 7 day warranty on my bill in case water came back. I had the water back the next day. I called and they came out and again we asked about the outside H313231363838**323738H. The man said they would do the outside but they would charge me another $300 to do that. I don&#**;t think that is right because they didn&#**;t solve the issue because the water was back within 24 hours.

  I called them out to replace a faucet and shower head and the bathroom fixtures. After the work was done, I turned on the hot and there was a leak. I called them back after I found the leak and told them about it. They said they will send someone out to check it. It took them 8 days to send someone out to check out the leak. The repairman said there was not leak. I showed him that the water was leaking. The repairman decided to leave because he thought I was screaming at him and I did not. He is making some outrageous claims that aren't true. They said that somebody will call me back. No one called me back, so I called them on November 22nd and they had me to talk to ********. ******** said she has to talk to her superiors and that someone will call me back. November 29th, I called them again and asked to speak with *******. They said ******** was unavailable. They are not trying to fix the leak.
