On September 2, 2021, ***** & Sons Paving ripped out my old driveway and replaced it with new concrete. In March, 2022 - seven months later - I noticed that the driveway began crumbling, with 2 to 3 inch large chunks of concrete popping out all over the driveway. I contacted **** ***** and reported the problem. He came out and said in his 20+ years of doing concrete he had never seen concrete crumble and crack like that. He said he would contact the concrete supplier about getting it redone. That was March 16th, 2022. I have been chasing he and his brother *** ever since then. **** told me that the concrete company offered him a free load of concrete and $1,000 to replace my damaged driveway. **** said he wasn't going to eat the difference (roughly $4,000). He told me in June I could file a claim with his insurance company and then he'd do it. I have asked he and his brother over 12 times for his insurance company name and contact info. They now refuse to provide the information. I have spoken to a lawyer, but before I go that route, I would like to see if the BBB can intercede and get this company to replace the crumbling driveway they put in just 9 months ago. Thank you for any assistance. I chose this company over two others because our best friend worked with their mother at a local hospital for years and she knew the family. The other two companies I got bids from accepted credit cards. ***** Paving did not. I wish I would have paid via a credit card now....
