  One of the breeders listed under their site at *********** who's name is ****** ******* in West Plains, MO. She has been selling puppies that are infected with an intestinal parasite. I let her know bout the loose stools and let her know I had a vet appointment So I called her about the loose stools and they analyzed the stools it was not toxcicty like I thought. She immediately hung up when she heard the word Giardia  I asked her to call me back and I will help you and we can work it out I called and left another message and she didn't call me back She told me to send the puppy back now I have to pay 400 dollars to send the puppy back The vet bill wasn't cheap but she never agreed to reimburse all of my expenses. Cairn Terrier is the breed I purchased from her.  I was also going to give her the number to the Vet I spoke with but she hung up on me and even tried to say that I caused the puppy to get this infection which is absolutely ridiculous  I am an experienced dog breeder for 60 years and I am well aware of how to care for a puppy as well as what causes them to get sick.  This puppy was sick before I received it.

  ****** ******** purchased a Cairn puppy from me and it was transported to her via an independent outside carrier on 6/28/2023. The industry standard is to have the puppy taken to the vet within 48 to 72 hours after receiving the puppy. Ms. ******** did not take the puppy in within the time frame. I was contacted on 8/3/2023 that the puppy was taken to the vet and was diagnosed with giardia. Giardia is a parasite that is transmitted from contaminated water, food, soil or animal to animal. Ms. ******** had the puppy for 36 days prior to it receiving veterinarian care. The puppy could have come into contact with the parasite during that time. Due to this, I do not replace or refund for puppies that have parasites which can be picked up anywhere, this is the industry standard. I guarantee my puppies for genetic disorders. A parasite is not a genetic disorder. 
  Ms. ******** did not request to have the vet bill paid. Instead, she demanded I refund her money. I tried to call her back however, I was met with hostility and told how to run my business. Ms. ******** has accused me of sending puppies “all over the place and contaminating other families” however, she does not know my business practices. I am in good standing within the industry and have not had any other complaints regarding my puppies having giardia.
