    Dissatisfaction purchasing a vehicle on September 23rd 2023 I have purchased a 2014 ******* Sonata at Thrifty used car sales and tires at ************************************************** in the amount of ****** had put down $3,000 cash on September 27th 2023 I went to ****** of ******** for a diagnostic I had 10 days under warranty through Thrifty for an inspection on the motor numerous problems with the vehicle were discovered I was not satisfied with the whole process the staff at Thrifty has ignored me and refused to address the problems all my complaints over the period of 9 months this is why I'm reporting this today I have all the evidence of the way that I have been treated for the sale of this vehicle I've lost money out of my pocket and had issues on my own as far as getting back and forth to work these issues has became a major problem to my finances and left me without transportation in which cause loss of work and therefore also cause car payments to fail behind due to the default of the way they sold this vehicle and I had defaulted on my agreement with Thrifty due to the fact that I was putting out a lot of money on this vehicle to get it back on the road the staff has been unprofessional ****** had did a diagnostic and confirm the source of the vibration and all the other problems to the vehicle the lower engine mount during 2 the inspection found radiator support crack and held together with a shoestring AC condenser bent and pushed into the radiator transmission line at radiator minus damage on the body splash ******* missing hood latch bracket bent and missing boats from the pump seal of the transmission leaking all four tires we're chopped and some separated and cylinder 3 ignition coil connector was broken due upon this inspection through ****** of ******** it had cost me $165 for that diagnostic to get done therefore this has need to be reported to the ********************** for the poor business that they are providing the customers

    Wow would be my first response and my 2nd response would be no good deed goes unpunished. ******************* was content when she paid me when she wanted and was past due well over 6 months on her payments. When she first purchased the car she had complaints about her tires and the how the radiator was secured. We offer a 7 day warranty and we told her we would gladly fix the issues. She said she didn't want our mechanics to fix the repairs. She brought it to a ******* dealership and was charged an astronomical amount. I told her that I wouldn't cover that crazy amount that I would give her half of the amount of the bill. That is what it would cost me to fix it or any reasonable repair shop. I wrote her a check for half the amount. We did what she wanted us to do so we figured that she would be a happy customer and we would have no problems going forward. We even forgave a payment, so she didn't have to pay the week the car was repaired. From sept 23, 2023 until 7/1/24 a total of 6 payments were made out of 36 that should have been made. Her acct had been out for repossession for over 7.5 months. The car was not where it was supposed to be and when it was finally found it wasn't even in this state. We did everything we could to help ******************* but at the end of the day her car payment needed to be made every other wk and wasn't. We help folks out that nobody else would but that doesn't mean you don't have to pay for your car. We aren't a charity we are a business w/ many employees that have families and depend on our customers to make their payments so we can pay our bills. We wish ****************** the best of luck in her future and we won't be seeking legal action to pay her deficiency balance on her acct. We understand folks go through hard times and aren't trying to put her further behind b/c we can. That isn't who we are as a company and not what we are about. ******************* is a little confused on who has legal recourse in this situation and who wasn't paid according to the contract she signed. We harbor no ill will in this situation and hope everything turns around for you and your future. ***********************
