  I purchased a car in February of 2025 and within 24 hours had to return it for repairs due to power steering going out and kept having tire issues. They called yesterday (3/16/25) and told me I could come get my car(**** called actually) and almost as soon as we hung up the phone the SECOND TIME, AND AFTER HIM SAYING MULTIPLE TIMES to come get my car the following day, I get a text within minutes saying I had to have a payment in hand when picking up the vehicle. How am I supposed to be able to work with no vehicle? How is it fair that I only had the vehicle for 24 hours before it went down, you have it for almost 2weeks, and now I have to come up with a payment? After explaining to them that I needed the vehicle to make the payment and told them I could make the payment within 3 days of getting the vehicle, they still proceeded to tell me I had to have payment in hand. Oh,let's not forget that I put $2,000 down for said vehicle. So I paid $2,000 to drive a car for 1 day?? I think tf not!

  Ok, you did return the car for tire going flat and you said there was front end damage. After examining the car, a nail was found in the tire. There were no front-end problems just a nail in the tire. As soon as we fixed the car, we told you the car was ready to come get the car. It sat for days and days before someone came. There was nothing wrong with the car it was and is a nice little car. The tire didn't go flat on the lot while we had it or we would have fixed it before you bought it. Things like flat tires doesn't move your pay date or change your contract. One has nothing to do with the other. The car also sat here for days again not our fault we called you 3 or 4 times and told you it was ready. We also fixed the tire free of charge to you. The way we look at this situation is you bought a nice little **** Fusion that rides and drives excellent. The car ran over a nail and tire kept going flat. You brought to us and said the car had front end issues and other issues. It was driven by our mechanic and evaluated. We fixed tire and car was good to go. We called for days until finally someone came and picked up car. Flat tires aren't any major concern are major repair. You can plug a tire for under ********************************** most towns. We did it for free and yes, we expected you to honor your contract you signed. We hope your enjoying your new car and welcome to the Thrifty Family we appreciate you and your business. We do our best to be honest up front and transparent w/ all of our interactions with customers and potential customers. Fusions are great little ***************. Keep the oil changed regularly and don't drive it crazy that car should give you years and years of reliable transportation. We have sold 100's and 100's of them the past 9.5 years and buy everyone we can get our hands on b/c of that reason. You bought a car that we know through personal experience are solid little cars.   The staff was very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable I was able to choose the vehicle I wanted and test drive it before I bought it I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone who is in the market for a used vehicle this place makes it easy to get you in a ride out of a score of 1 to 10 I give thrifty s used cars and tires a 10

  Dissatisfaction purchasing a vehicle on September 23rd 2023 I have purchased a 2014 ******* Sonata at Thrifty used car sales and tires at ************************************************** in the amount of ****** had put down $3,000 cash on September 27th 2023 I went to ****** of ******** for a diagnostic I had 10 days under warranty through Thrifty for an inspection on the motor numerous problems with the vehicle were discovered I was not satisfied with the whole process the staff at Thrifty has ignored me and refused to address the problems all my complaints over the period of 9 months this is why I'm reporting this today I have all the evidence of the way that I have been treated for the sale of this vehicle I've lost money out of my pocket and had issues on my own as far as getting back and forth to work these issues has became a major problem to my finances and left me without transportation in which cause loss of work and therefore also cause car payments to fail behind due to the default of the way they sold this vehicle and I had defaulted on my agreement with Thrifty due to the fact that I was putting out a lot of money on this vehicle to get it back on the road the staff has been unprofessional ****** had did a diagnostic and confirm the source of the vibration and all the other problems to the vehicle the lower engine mount during 2 the inspection found radiator support crack and held together with a shoestring AC condenser bent and pushed into the radiator transmission line at radiator minus damage on the body splash ******* missing hood latch bracket bent and missing boats from the pump seal of the transmission leaking all four tires we're chopped and some separated and cylinder 3 ignition coil connector was broken due upon this inspection through ****** of ******** it had cost me $165 for that diagnostic to get done therefore this has need to be reported to the ********************** for the poor business that they are providing the customers

  Wow would be my first response and my 2nd response would be no good deed goes unpunished. ******************* was content when she paid me when she wanted and was past due well over 6 months on her payments. When she first purchased the car she had complaints about her tires and the how the radiator was secured. We offer a 7 day warranty and we told her we would gladly fix the issues. She said she didn't want our mechanics to fix the repairs. She brought it to a ******* dealership and was charged an astronomical amount. I told her that I wouldn't cover that crazy amount that I would give her half of the amount of the bill. That is what it would cost me to fix it or any reasonable repair shop. I wrote her a check for half the amount. We did what she wanted us to do so we figured that she would be a happy customer and we would have no problems going forward. We even forgave a payment, so she didn't have to pay the week the car was repaired. From sept 23, 2023 until 7/1/24 a total of 6 payments were made out of 36 that should have been made. Her acct had been out for repossession for over 7.5 months. The car was not where it was supposed to be and when it was finally found it wasn't even in this state. We did everything we could to help ******************* but at the end of the day her car payment needed to be made every other wk and wasn't. We help folks out that nobody else would but that doesn't mean you don't have to pay for your car. We aren't a charity we are a business w/ many employees that have families and depend on our customers to make their payments so we can pay our bills. We wish ****************** the best of luck in her future and we won't be seeking legal action to pay her deficiency balance on her acct. We understand folks go through hard times and aren't trying to put her further behind b/c we can. That isn't who we are as a company and not what we are about. ******************* is a little confused on who has legal recourse in this situation and who wasn't paid according to the contract she signed. We harbor no ill will in this situation and hope everything turns around for you and your future. ***********************

  These people sell you a car that is a lemon. when we got our vehicle it was leaking coolant and oil we mentioned it to them the first day we had it right along with the window motors not working properly. They stated and signed in the contract that they would fix it we dropped it off two times to there "machanics" and one day we dropped it off early in the morning. The vehicle had 2 bent rims on it as well. Not even considering that the machanics are alcholics. But anyway Later that afternoon we called 4 times and no answer so we went up there and they hadn't even started working on our vehicle yet. So Igo ahead and fix everything and told them i had it in a real shop and in the process told them I had to fix it all because my wife and 3 kids ride in the vehicle everyday. And I would be behind on the payments for a week or two so I could pay the machanic fee. So they show up to my home with some disrespectful women demanding they get the car back and stated I was 2 weeks behind on my car note speaking with her I informed her that my wife had the car at work and I was going to catch up on the payments that Friday. She said ok that's fine as long as I catch up on it this Friday. So later on that Thursday afternoon my wife got off of work and walked out to her vehicle and guess what they come and took the vehicle back. Took my kids carseats and there belongings as well. My wife called them because they were forwarding my phone calls to see what was going on and the women stated we had to pay a open gate fee to even get our stuff back out the car. What's even worse is my wife had our daughter with her that afternoon and they had to sit there until I went and bought another carseat for My daughter. Now I try to reach out to them to get our belongings and to maybe get the vehicle back and they wouldn't even answer the phone or anything I even have *****'s number still in my phone from when I helped install all the cameras he had us install at his car lot. No answer.

  *******, our history together has been me doing for you. When I stopped doing for you then you have a problem w/ the car. You have been in the car for 8 months. In those 8 months you have never complained to me 1x. The reason you are being required to pay off your loan to get your car back b/c the trust is gone. You removed the security device from the car a while back. You were 2 payments behind. You would have come drop the car off until you were current again, we would gladly give the car back. Instead, you told us what you were going to do and you thought you were safe from us finding the car. Luckily, we got lucky, and the agent found the car. Now you want to say untrue comments about my business and trash me every place you can. If the car was such a POS why are you so mad it was repossessed? I lowered the down payment as low as I go on cars. The down payment on that car was 3x what you put down. I thought you were going to do sum wrench turning for us at first, so I took a chance on you. That was a wash 2 days in. The very least you could do is follow the rules for us going the extra mile for you but nope not what you did. Anyway, I appreciate the self-responsibility you take for your actions and truly I'm sorry it didn't work out. *****,
