On May 4, I got a phone call from *********************, owner of Quality Tree Service, LLC of ********, *** I asked if he could give me an estimate on cutting 2 trees down and also grinding the stumps. That day, he came and gave me his estimate of $2800 and said he would cut the pine tree, the popcorn tree and grind the ***** of the pine. He also said he would do the best he can with the popcorn tree but it was too close to the fence to completely grind it. This was understood. He also said his crew could come as early as Tuesday May 7 which worked out well for me since I was leaving out of town the following day for 2 weeks. He also told me he preferred cash and I told him not a problem. On the 7th, I headed home from work and saw his crew finishing the cut down portion of the job so I called him and asked who should I give the money to. He told me to give it to his work leader man who happened to be his brother-in-law. I ran to the bank and withdrew the cash and gave it to him $2800. ****** also told me ue wouldn't grind the ***** that day since it needed to dry out and he would be back in a few days to do this. I thought nothing of it as he did everything as planned so far. I also was slightly disappointed that my yard was torn up and his cree didn't do a thorough job of picking up debris that came from the trees they took down and I spent a good portion of the afternoon cleaning my back yard.Moving forward in time, on May 20, I returned home and expected the pine tree ***** ground. It wasn't, so I called ****** and he claimed the teeth on his ***** grinder went bad and he was waiting 10 days to get new sets of teeth. I let a week pass and called him. No answer. A few more days, nothing. Again on several occasions nothing. No return calls no plan on grinding the stumps for which he agreed to do.If there is not a resolution to this complaint that is satisfactory, i will take action against Quality Tree Service, LLC.Initial Complaint

On the morning of Friday, February 17, 2023, i was woken by the sound a an engine revving. I finally discovered it was a truck and trailer with lift equipment stuck on our property about 30 feet from my bedroom window. We live on 3 1/2 acres and the truck was just about in the middle of the property. He said that he was going to trim a neighbors tree. After the owner, ****** **** arrived, he pulled them out but left a huge rutted area. After speaking with the owner, he agreed to repair the damage. I left several messages and sent pictures of the damage, but ****** has done nothing to contact me to resolve this issue. All we want is the the ruts be filled and sod be replanted in the affected area.
