I went January 3rd to the car lot. They sold me a $ 44,000Ford Edge 2018 after insurance. I signed the contract but the papers were never processed. It’s been an entire month and supposedly my monthly payment is coming up February 3rd. I haven’t received not one piece of mail. So I called CPS (the bank they used allegedly) and they said the paperwork hasn’t been sent. But here’s the issue, the car started leaking anti freeze a week after we had it. We had planned a trip to Nashville with our church and we were going to take it global to get it fixed before we went because my husband had suspected that the antifreeze was a leaking head gasket and that it could possibly be leaking into the exhaust or motor. We took it up there. They said that the mechanic had to order part and it would be the next day to bring. So we did. The mechanic put the part on it or so he said. But when we drove it home the antifreeze was still leaking because the salesman told him something completely different than what was wrong so the issue wasn’t fixed. Needless to say I called before our trip to nashville and asked if they believed it was okay to drive there and back. They said yes. And when we got back from our trip to just bring it by and they’d fix it. Well when we got back we took it and we sat there for 8 hours waiting for my car to be fixed. Well they said it would need to be brought back because they’d have to order more parts. I kept getting the run around and the owner kept having meetings with the mechanic about it. They eventually told me to bring it back again this past Friday. They had it until Wednesday. I came and picked it up. The liquid in the antifreeze tank was black. And we drove it to church (we live right behind the church) and to the local Walmart and to Hamilton AL. The next day my husband gets up for work to leave and the car won’t crank. The engine starts smoking. I called and told them that I no longer wanted the car. I even sent a message the the sales lady that sold it to me to come get it. The loan hadn’t been processed yet and I’ve given them several chances to fix the vehicle. They kept giving me a run around and kept trying to quick fix everything until the car finally quit. It’s still within 30 days of purchasing the vehicle. February 3rd will be the last day. So after calling and telling them to come pick it up yesterday they said it would be today. I had my husbands uncle Call and tell them that he could take the vehicle to them if the mechanic wouldn’t answer. Well I called to see what was going on all morning they wouldn’t answer me not one time until after he called. The man on the phone asked me why I was even contacting them that they just spoke to someone and then proceeding to tell me “he did not give a damn what I wanted that I signed a contract” said to contact my lawyer and have him contact his and hung up in my face. Not one time did I cuss at them sir. Not once. I have gotten irritated at them because you buy a new vehicle and you maybe drove it not even for 2 weeks tops. Im just wondering is there anything at all I can do?? Can I take them to court with this case? I have a newborn that has to go to her doctors appt, im going to lose my job, and so is my husband. All because we went out and bought a vehicle from them and they keep lying to us. And apparently this is the first time because a review on BBB says they had problems as well with them. IN response to complaint, Its an unfortunate that they had problems with the vehicle. We have all are vehicles checked and pre serviced before being sold. Cars and trucks are man made machines with thousands of moving parts and sometimes parts fail and cause the vehicles to break down. Breakdowns although we cant contol them, we try very hard to prevent them. We at GLobal understand and feel the frustration with the customer, thats why we made the descision to let the customer return the unit and let them out of the contract and financial obligation.
