I bought a new car at Tameron Kia on the September 30, 2023. I live in Louisiana and went to Mississippi to buy the car. I made it clear I wanted all taxes included, and they told me that it would be taken care of. When I called the sales of Tameron Kia multiples times, they told me that the only thing I would have to pay is the tag fees. Today, October 24, 2023, I went to the DMV to get the license plate and registration to find out that I had to pay nearly 500$ in taxes. When I called Tameron Kia today to find a resolution, they said there was no remedy to my grievance because I signed a paper saying any additional tax would be my responsibility. I wasnt concretely told about this paper and it’s ramifications. However, I clearly asked and confirmed that all taxes would be handled by the, and they repeatedly told me that this was the case. I wouldn’t have even minded if we restructured the loan to fit in this money and I get refunded, but they refused to cooperate whatsoever.Business response

I have attached our out of state registration form that Mr. ***** signed. It holds Tameron harmless for any tax/fees difference owed. While I understand it's frustrating, sometimes our best efforts fall short with interstate commerce.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
Despite the form being signed, it was signed under the assumption that all taxes were being taken care of. I heavily emphasized during buying negotiations that I wanted all taxes taken care of, and that should have been correctly calculated in the buyers order. I was reassured multiple times by sales there that the only thing that would have to be paid would be tag fees upon entering the DMV for the license plate. The dealership was aware I was an out of state consumer, and the taxes should have been thoroughly calculated as what expected and promised.
