      This review is pertaining to ride share vehicles I rented from Holmes Motors, Inc. My rental term began in mid-February. Then, I reported a parking brake malfunction in June. This led me to believe Go With Gig is misconducting their business model by misleading new members to rent Holmes Motors, Inc. defective vehicles and sign them off as "ultimate ride share vehicles", -- Gowithgig.com My driver history with Uber and Lyft is supported with exceptional focus on delivering safe rides. Renting with Go With Gig staff has been underwhelming due to their lack of care and respect for me as a driver. Holmes Motors's vehicles with a defective horn, a parking brake, and obvious signs of preexisting damages from accidents. These malfunctions occurred in every car I was transferred into. The services rendered were unfair and led me to suggest predatory lending. This in order to rent faulty vehicles to prey on ride share drivers'extensive earnings. When George Stone and Daniel of Go With Gig pertained to certain defects and damages, I was offered to switch into different cars, in lieu of assuring me the cars are in great condition. Kindly, I cooperated with the decision to accommodate the swap-out. That was the most effective plan on their end. Ultimately, they decided to cancel my contract, immediately. Due to their disagreement, George Stone responded, "because I am dissatisfied...we are ending business with you." The condition of their vehicles enabled them to remove me from their contract. All I can say is... When there's smoke, there's fire! The customer service from Go With Gig and Holmes Motors portrayed scandalous behavior by undermining my ability to report these important repairs. Unbelievably, all of these vehicles may need to be thoroughly inspected for additional defects, current recalls and unreported preexisting damages. This will prevent potential road hazards from ride share drivers to business partners while utilizing any of these vehicles.

      Very terrible buisness I’ve had my car for a month and it’s been service twice for engine issues! They make you leave your vehicle and watch you struggle to pay your note cause you can’t go to work while they have your vehicle. Also the down payments are different than what’s listed! Skip this place when shopping for a vehicle

      Ms ******* has many statementts that were not correct in her letter to BBB. First she travelled 6080 miles in 6 weeks. She signs that she will stay within the miles. Her first appointment we had to order the part from Nissan it took the next day to repair we did'nt charge her anything The second time she brought the car in we fixed the problem installed a backup camera and she came over to pick up the car the samw day no charge. Our mechanic did say the oil filter was in bad shape as she was told when she had her oil and filter changed by another company{we only do the first chg} they told her and she said no there was only a charge of $40. We do record all work and time and parts They don't miss tell its all automated yhats why we have 5400 active people driving today

      I give Holmes Motors 0 stars they are the worst company they lied to get my money and disabled my car 3 times in one month the first time they said they did not have a good numbe on file for me they disabled my car with out calling my job number listed on my application or trying to reach out to any of the references I had to give them. The second time they disabled my car I was one day late making a payment. The third time was because they didn’t have my insurance on file three times in one month after I have paid them 2000 down and 900 and payments don’t ever deal with this car company, they would take your money and take advantage of you

      Ms ****** put a wrong work number on her application it belonged to a person who's had the number a long time , Second time we turned the car off was March 12 for second payment default The next time was the next day her insurance was cancelled. We have tried to deal with Ms ****** but she became very belligerent on the phone. We try to work with all of our customers in a professional manner and have 4937 customers driving our vehicles today without problems

      I put a service request in on Monday it is now Thursday and I still haven’t heard from them. Spoke with the sales manager ******** who was rude and hung up on my face just bc I asked questions. Rude and unprofessional!!!!!! They don’t want to fix cars or do their jobs!!!!

      The vehicle was leased to ****** ***** who understood there was a 18000 miles per year limitation if exceeded repairs would have to be made by the lessee. In seven months they put 31819 miles far exceeding the mileage which voids our service agreement. Mr ***** **** Service Mgr from Montgomery called Mr ****** to discuss the situation and his voice mail was full. Mr ***** is the person who signed the lease and unless we hear from the lessee we usually don;t discuss the terms again

      I purchased my vehicle on 12/14/23. I personally told the seller not to post me on his account due to my own personal reasons. He assured me he would put emojis to cover my face…he DID NOT!!! My livelihood was put in harms way because the vehicle I now own has been broadcasted on social media. On another note within 2/3wks of having the vehicle the airbag light cuts on and the front bumper pops out. I reach out to the dealership only for the service dept manager to be rude and unsympathetic as well as accused me of getting into an accident or hitting curb that’s why the light was on and bumper popped out as if I wouldn’t know if I hit something. He also told me the picture before purchase shows no dints etc yet the vehicle clearly has been in a previous accident and I wasn’t informed since my driver door vin is different than the actual car and the popped out bumper is on the same side. I also have this key restriction that prevents me from actually enjoying the features of the vehicle sirus XM, radio volume etc. I was told the service dept didn’t have time to look at why my airbag light just came on but had time to fix the radio issue. I feel as tho that is terrible customer to only been with the company for less than 30days at that time. I reached out to the corporate office in Alabama and was told I’d receive a call back and never did which adds to the terrible customer service from this company.

      I checked with our Douglasville Sales mgr and he sent the picture indicating emojis were used to cover every ones face, ***** ***** service mgr had Ms ******* come in and he personally fixed her My Key so she could enjoy the radio features at no cost He explained the photos we take of every vehicle showed no damage on the vehicle when she bought it. We wanted her to make an appointment to check the air bags as our mechanics were all tied up we have over 5000 customers to take care of that make appointments. Mr ***** said there was no rudeness on his part

      This is the worst car lot ever I’m not even going to explain all I’ve been threw with this carlot and if I did they would answer with a bunch of lies I can tell you this DONT BUY FROM THEM ITS ALL SCAM they tell you what you want to hear when your buying the car but after you buy it there very rude and could care less about you they set you up for failure so they can repo and resell SCAM SCAM SCAM words don’t mean nothing actions speak volumes DONT BUY YOU WILL REGRET

      Mr ******* was repossess for non payment on November 1st he paid his payments past due and repo fee after using very harsh language with the employees trying to help him its all well documented and our telephone conversations are recorded. We have 5000 customers paying their bills and driving our vehicles every day without issues because we take care of them and they take care of their business.

      Don’t go here they shut your car off I had my vehicle's 2 yrs and still owe 20,000 on a 2017 smh . Also the so called warranty is a joke you can’t drive over 1200 to 1500 one or the two a month . Also don’t let insurance sends a cancellation letter to them they cut vehicle off and require u to send proof of insurance into company . I wait to pay until last minute because I’m robbing Peter to pay Paul but I pay my insurance smh I’m not gonna risk my licenses for not paying. This company a joke frfr and they will come for vehicle fyi

      Mr ***** bought his vehicle on 5/14/22, We allow our customers to drive 18000 miles per year he is well over the mileage so our service writer explained to him that he had to get it repaired his self. As for insurance if a customer drives without insurance we make every attempt to notify them if they dont respond we have to turn them off Mr ***** said he would pay his late note on 12/2/23 will see. We work with our people but can only go so far by the way the 1500 miles per month is at pacing and our customers know that and agree to live by the rules.

      Everything goes good in the beginning until you actually pay your car off and they hit you with all these back fees after you worked so hard to pay your **** off. Remind you since I’ve had my car I’ve never used them for anything not even to fix anything, because the wait for your turn is so long so I’ve always paid outta pocket for anything needing fixing on it during the warranty because I’m not leaving my car for a month or so and still required to pay a car note . I was quoted a residual of $1600 AFTER paying off my vehicle. Apparently the person who quoted me didn’t have accurate information because once I was directed to the “ pay off” department she quoted me a residual of almost $2100 which is an addition $500 of what I was quoted. If you can take your money and your business else where it’s not a headache. Also the “500” deposit” you put down obviously means nothing. I was a lot younger and didn’t want serious commitment when I went to Holmes motor despite their reputation. Just be ware of the hidden fees, miscommunication, and all the other BS. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND

      I recently purchased a truck from Holmes Motors and I received the most patient, friendly, customer service oriented salesperson I have ever encountered. **** ******* is representing Holmes Motors with the right personality and attitude. She is ensuring that the customer is taken care of first and that's the type of mentality you would expect from a salesperson. If you are in the market for a vehicle, ask for **** *******, she is definitely one of the best. Side note: ***** ****** facilitated the sale of my vehicle as well and was very knowledgeable and helpful during my purchase process.
