I found Steadfast Employment through Indeed, they called me in for an interview for a position at *** ***, they offered me the position. I asked if it was okay to put in my two weeks at my current job, the rep said yes, and that she always recommends clients do that. I was told to call, soon as I put in my two weeks! I called the following day, after telling my Supervisor. I asked for a start date for orientation, the receptionist, told me that, it'll probably be the week after my leave(that following Monday or Tuesday). I called again the next week, because I needed more clarification, the receptionist told me, that she can't really for sure clarify but, if it's not next week, it'll be for sure, the week after that. I was a little unease/nervous because I had already put in at my job, and the deadline was approaching. But she assured me, that it will be an orientation. I called back a couple days later, and I was told by the receptionist, that they have been calling and texting me, without a response, and that orientation, started that Tuesday. I checked my calls and my text, I did not see anything from them! I finally asked to speak to the Rep, who hired me for the position, she said the same thing, but offered me a position to hold me over(it lasted three days). She said she'll send me details via text about the job, once she sent me the text, I saw that, the last message I received from them, was early February, when I got the job! I hadn't received anything regarding orientation. I am currently jobless, because I thought I had a job with them. I've text her, several times asking about orientation, and she doesn't respond. I called today and she said, she doesn't know when orientation will begin. This is frustrating and so unprofessional to do to people, who come to you for work.
