I just bought a car on July 15, 2023 from Kirk brothers I drove it back to Memphis where I am from. I traded my 2010 ford focus se for it.The next day the car stopped on me while I was driving on the highway on the way to get my daughter, I went to AutoZone to charge the battery where the car stopped again even after charging the light is on. On Monday the battery light plus the thermostat light were still on leading my mechanic to say that I needed a new belt for my alternator. The transmission light is now on and the car jerks. I’ve called Kirk brothers to return the car after reading up on the Mississippi state laws that if a used car isn’t working the customer is allowed a refund or exchange. They told me I owned the car and it was my problem there wasn’t a sticker mentioning the car warranty and no one told me the car was a as is car. I am currently pregnant and have a three year old. They were supposed to clean and fumigate the car because it was dirty and had a roach infestation. They keep changing their minds on what to tell me at first they were going to pick the car up to clean it now since I am dissatisfied they won’t clean the car or come to service the car.Business response

I recently got a vehicle from Kirk brothers in Vicksburg Mississippi on July 22 2022 it was financed through truist bank well today is October 3 2022 I have not yet received a license plate every time I call they tell me their going to call me back and I never receive a call and I'm afraid of getting stop by the police.i just recently called again today and they told me they will call me back in 30 minutes that was an hour agaoBusiness response

I bought a car from Kirk along with extended warranty and gap insurance. Since then I had it refinanced with my bank which came with a gap policy. My husband and I have repeatedly asked for a refund from Kirk for the gap policy purchased through them since October and we have yet to receive a refund after months of calling.Business response

Thank you for the feedback from Ms *******. The General Manager/Operator of the Kirk Brothers Greenwood location is aware of this now and is taking steps today to make sure all of the concerns are addressed and handled properly for the customer. I expect this issue to be resolved in no more than 24-48 hours to the customer's satisfaction.
