The following is the information I gathered in calling other Toyota dealers: Kirk Toyota in Grenada charged 4 hours of labor for a 6 cylinder tune-up on a FJ Cruiser vs 1 1/2 to 2 hours compared to other Toyota dealers. This information was gathered through my phone conversations with these other dealers in the area that I listed below. The difference can be several hundred dollars. You can call these dealers to see if the savings will be the same for your Toyota? In addition, make sure you ask for additional incentives like a free oil change and further discounts on the overall price in comparing each of the dealers. I have experienced these savings from various dealers in the past when multiple services are being performed. According to Toyota corporate their dealerships are independent and are not required to provide consistency in their service pricing. Corporate has no recourse. If you are one of the unfortunate ones who finds through comparisons that you have already paid the higher price then as a consumer you have the right to request Kirk Toyota to make it right through compensation. Collectively we as consumers can impact businesses through our actions.
