This towing company has had my car for over a month. I paid Bank of America on the 11/27/22 the amount owed the the repossess $2,071. They had to send a release the same day to ******** ******** who sent it to South Central Towing Company in order to get my vehicle. I was told it was a hour process between the too. Only to call the towing company for a whole week saying they didn’t have the release. I started with fees up to $700 and now it’s $906. I found out the car couldn’t be release to my me because it was in my moms name. So I had to get another release from 12/9. Mind u it’s the week it and that’s two more days of $35. I called Monday and the release sent within 15min from all places only for them to say the business is only open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I was never told that. So I have to wait til Wednesday which is 3 more days of $35. I was also told appointment didn’t start til 11am but 12/12 I was told today I can come Wednesday at 10am. Now it’s down to $1089 and they put me on hold for 2hrs to tell me that and said they would call back to make sure that was the right amount. They do not take cash payments and add a 3% for using a card.Business response

Good afternoon,
We were not authorized to release the vehicle to ******* *********. The vehicle is in ***** *********'s name and she was advised a 3rd party release was needed for ******* to redeem the vehicle. The appointment was set for ***** ********* on 12/9/2022 at 2:30pm, ******* showed up alone and we advised her we did not have a 3rd party release. ***** and ******* were advised of the fees.
