I took my 2021 cub cadet in for it's first oil change (XX-XX-XXXX)and a battery the owner ****** said it would be at least 3-4 days, I called him back the next week and he talked as if he didn't know me and said they hadn't started on my cub cadet, I replied, I not rushing you but just calling to get an updated. On Yesterday' February 16, 2022 @ 8:59 a.m. the owner ****** called me and said that my cub cadet is ready and that the total bill is $800.00, I replied, "$800.00 for and oil change and a battery? ****** said he changed the spark plug and wires and that he noticed that the carburetor was rusty, (I replied, "rusty, how ? I keep my cub cadet in a closed in trailer )and that he took upon himself to change out the carburetor with a used one and that he saved me $200.00 on the used carburetor. I replied, " why didn't you call me before you changed out the carburetor, the only thing that I brought my cub cadet in for was an oil change and a battery, ****** replied, " I started to but it slipped my mind to call you", and also I noticed that the cub cadet was running sluggish and that the battery wasn't holding a charge after a few days and the $800.00 didn't include the battery which is $75.00, I replied, " My cub cadet was running fine when I brought it to you . He replied, he doesn't have time to talk with me and that I would need to bring $800.00 to get my cub cadet and that after 7 days a $10.00 storage free will be applied each day.

Kept the lawn tractor longer than first said he would, didn't keep me informed and when I called said "he'd looked at it and would tell me about it tomorrow". When he did call said it "wasn't worth fixing, too much wrong" and didn't say what was wrong. Called back and said I owed more than the $85.60 he charged me to look at it, but didn't say how much and hung up on me. When I went in I asked him what was wrong with it and he said it was not worth fixing. I said but what is wrong with it and he started yelling that he had already told me everything wrong with it. I said he had only said there was a lot and that he had spent 2 hours looking at it. He yelled, " I know what I told you and I'm not going to tell you again and I'm not going to argue with you.". I said I only want to see what is wrong and that that is what I'm paying him for. He pulled out a sheet with problems listed on it that was very hard to read. I said I can't read this. Now he really began to yell and call me names and said he hated dealing with "empty headed people like me", he called me names and used profanity and told me to pay him and get out and to not come back. He wouldn't let me keep the list of things wrong after he said he would give me a duplicate. I am a 65 year old woman who walks with a cane and have done business with him before. He is always on the rude side and rarely helpful, but can usually fix the machine. He threatened to throw me out physically when I asked why I couldn't have a copy of the list of problems. I said I should call the police and he said go ahead, they can't do anything. I got my machine back after giving him another ***** dollars. He said he had put in a spark plug and a fuse. I paid him for a non-working machine over ****** and got screamed at in the process. An employee put the machine on my pick-up truck by means of a lift truck. I guess I'm lucky to have gotten it back!! I would never darken the door of that place again!!! Negative star!
