The store has illegally refused to honor a gift card obtained in May 2021 in the amount of $100.00. The card was attempted to be used in January 2022. The gift card was denied without adequate notice to holders under MS law and without compensation. This is a violation of due process and MS state statute.Business response

We actually have already settled this with the client, she received her gift card. Her claim is wrong, we put out advertising and marketing on all social media, that we were changing systems and we needed everyone to use the old gift cards
by 12/31/21. When the customer came in someone working told her we could not take her gift card because our old system was gone we had no idea how to even look up the amount. But, after speaking to her we honored her gift card as we have anyone else that has come in with one.
So this is a false claim and has been handled.
