I have enclosed a copy of my to go receipt. Tipping culture is insane, but #1 supposedly charging me 20% on a to go order because of the volume of food I ordered is crazy! I'm paying for the food. You do not need a server to refill my drinks or a dishwasher to wash my dishes--literally put it in a bag and leave! #2 adding a tip on the tax of a ticket is utterly ridiculous! #3 You added almost $70 AFTER I arrived to pick it up and was not informed prior to you running ny card. There was also no mention on the website when I ordered it and I believe anyone spending an additional $70 would want to be apprised BEFORE purchase! #4 when you added your tip to the tax it actually equates to a 22% tip added for putting my food in a bag and saving the restaurant from paying servers & dishwashers for a full service meal. #5--- even with a $70 tip, we only received 2 silverware sets for our "huge" order (after we even asked to be sure we had them) and many of the items were not labeled. Ihave ALWAYS tipped for good service and VERY well but adding a 22% tip cuz you feel I purchased TOO MUCH food at one time is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of, because this was added before I even received my food! I would like a clear explanation, do you not want business above a certain dollar volume or there is a penalty for buying a certain dollar amount? When did tipping become a forced situation in take out orders? I was a server for many years that's why I understand the value of tipping for good service but now I'm required to pay a 22% tip on food with no services received, this is wrong on many levels. If the cost of the food was 22% more it should be posted on the menu, but to assume this amount on a take out order is beyond bad business!

       Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: The "suggested" tip was added to my take out order without notifying me when I placed the order that 22% would be added to my take out order. When I sent someone to pick it up they were told although the receipt reads suggested tip that is an actual fee that is added to the total that was not given when placing the online order.
