Perkins metro glass was hired june 22 to cut a piece of boat glass out of tempered glass. They said it would be ready june 30th. I still do not have my glass. They have repeatedly lost the order, lost the pattern, lost the P.O., and now they have lost the original glass I left behind. They have said they would cut the glass out of laminate glass, which is cheaper than tempered glass even though tempered glass was paid for. They the. Said the window would be ready for pick up no later than Tuesday August 24th. Today is Wednesday August 25th and they still have not cut the window. I am strongly considering taking them to small claims court as the now have my entire window and seem to have zero desire to give me my property back or to complete the job they were hired to do.Business response

WERE VERY SORRY THAT THIS HAPPENED DURING THE TIME WE HAD NEW EMPLOYEES TRAINING AND WAS NOT VERY FAMILAR WITH HOW TO TAKE ORDERS FROM CUSTOMER SUCH AS THIS WHICH WAS A SPECIAL ORDER ONCE I FOUND THE PROBLEM AND I CALLED TO ASK THE CUSTOMER CAN WE CUT THIS USING LAMINATED GLASS (WHAT SHOULD OF BEEN USED FIRST) HE SAID IT WOULD BE FINE HE ASKED IS IT CHEAPER TO USE LAMI OR TEMPERED GLASS THE CUSTOMER WAS TOLD LAMINATED GLASS IS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN TEMP BUT HE WOULD NOT BE CHARGED FOR IT HE HAD ALREADY PAID FOR TEMPERED GLASS NOW ONCE THIS WAS HANDLED THE GLASS WAS A PATTERN CUT GLASS THE ONLY EMPLOYEE WE HAVE TO DO SO HAD TO BE IN THE FEILD WORKING DUE TO US BEING SO SHORT HANDED SO IT DID TAKE US A LITTLE BIT TO GET IT CUT BUT IN THE END WE CUT HIM 2 PCS OF LAMINATED GLASS AND HE BROUGHT US ONE BACK CAUSE HE BROKE IT WHILE TRYING TO INSTALL INTO HIS FRAME SO WE THEN CUT HIM A THIRD PIECE OF GLASS AND INSTALLED IT FOR HIM INTO HIS FRAME AND HE WAS NEVER CHARGED FOR ANY OF IT WHEN THE CUSTOMER CAME IN TO PICK UP WE THOUGHT THEY WERE HAPPY WITH IT BUT WE DID EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO TAKE CARE OF HIS GLASS NEEDS
