      August 8 2023 Charged $94.58 We asked for them to resole some shoes. They kept them for double the amount of time they quoted and then they came back ruined (see photos). Not only are they worse than before they cannot even be worn and they used materials that were obviously castoffs from previous projects. In good faith I called to ask for a refund and they said ok. Now today I log into my credit card company and see that the charge was processed.

      I've looked at the complaint, viewed the pictures, n tried calling n emailing Mr. ******. I've called several times n sent 1 email with no response. I was out when they picked up n called to complain. There's no one but myself that can refund money so I've tried calling to redolve this with no response.

      The $94.58 was for more than one pair of shoes.

      On the black pair we were asked to replace the soles. The type of original sole material is difficult to adhere to so I put 4 nails in the shank of each shoe to insure they would stay on. 

      other than not liking the way it looks, I don't know why they were unsatisfied. I don't understand the picture of the credit shoe.

      While we strive to satisfy every customer, I can't refund money for work without seeing the problem n talking with them about it.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      The shoes are unwearable. They were given to the company in a wearable condition, and they were returned to us in an unwearable state. The fact that the owner sees nothing wrong with the pictures attached does not absolve them of the fact of the work being extremely poor quality.  Also the owner being absent at the time of my attempt to achieve a reasonable resolution does not exempt them from the verbal agreement for a refund made over the phone or the verbal agreements my wife made specifying the repairs. A resolution was already made, and they went back on it. The refund agreement was made in good faith between their employee and I to which the owner is held liable.  The owner is going to attempt to make us bring the shoes back to the shop so they can "verify" that the work is not acceptable. I said I was not doing that and why when I spoke with their employee on the phone. We already spent considerable time driving back and forth as well as the nearly 2 month wait time for this work to be completed. I have no faith of it being completed in a satisfactory way or time if we take this route. It would also open us to retaliation now that we have complained. I am livid that they took advantage of my wife's kindness and patience and tried to pull these off as being "repaired". I just want my money back so I can attempt to get this fixed elsewhere. Most likely we will have to buy completely new ones.
