I contracted with this business to put fresh pinestraw in my flower beds. The job was quoted to me for $610 using 30 rolls of pinestraw. The company was to notify me prior to coming out and doing the work. On March 12, 2024 they showed up unannounced and I see a man walking around my backyard, I asked if I could help him and discovered he did not know how to speak English. The only way I discovered who he was is he was wearing a Pinestraw cap. I called and spoke to the salesperson who quoted the job and he said he was sorry he had dropped the ball but assured me they had been sent pictures and new where to place the straw. The first place the crew started to put down straw was not where straw was to go and I had to use my phone to translate where it was supposed to be placed.I then received a bill for almost $700 and I contacted the company and asked they correct this as I was quoted $610.00 for 30 rolls and only 25 were used and billed for. I then received an email the bill was 2 days past due on March 14'th. I again reached out and was told the owner *************************** would call me tomorrow. When it did not happen I reached out again and let them know I was happy to pay them if they would correct their invoice. **************** finally emailed me on June 10'th to let me know my bill was ********************************************** he was sending it to collections and putting a lien on my property. I am paying the bill which I think is unfair for me but obviously **************** has no communication or people skills.
