****************** (I Gotta Guy), ********** I hired him to take care of various home repairs. He sub-contracted out the jobs to "his people" (Plumbers, electricians, roofer, gutters, landscaping). I paid ******************, who paid his sub-contractors. He hired *********************** as a landscape engineer to correct an emergency water intrusion which had resulted in mold and other issues. They have now "completed" the project and are asking for final payment. However, I am extremely unhappy with the project conditions and completion status. I have contacted City officials for possible inspection of work.Business response

******************* is unhappy because she is worried about what the job looks like instead of the job that was at hand. The job was to stop the water intrusion which was done. She asked what to do about the landscaping she was given ideas and suggestions for appealing feature she could do and given another bid for a retaining wall and she didnt want to spend that kind of money.Business response

She was also given free labor on further waterproofing that wasnt on the bud also extension of the drain pipe to the street which always also free to try and satisfy client and after she brought in 3rd party we did more free of charge and we all agreed at that time would satisfy everyone and now shes filing this report after weve done all we could to satisfy well beyond the scope of the bid.Customer response

Although the case has been completed, and final bill paid, this was not about how it looked. The French drain ended in front of a tree (root ball), and would have resulted in standing water, merely feet from my front door, in the event of rain and would not have resulted in adequate drainage (which was the sole purpose of the drain). My concern (and a concern to those I consulted) was that the drain pipe, which emerged from the ground in front of the rootball should have followed the natural downward path to the street (as the other drain did). Yes, it was also unsightly, but that was secondary to lack of drainage. I did refuse their services to build the retaining wall, but have found someone else to do it. ****************** represents himself (in action), as a contractor but he is not a licensed contractor.
Finally, yes the pipe was extended to the street free of charge, because it should have been done in the beginning. This was not a "free service".

Conversations with the contractor of “I Gotta Guy”, ***** *******, began March 19, 2021. On March 22, 2021, ******* quoted me a price for the three spots that I had previously showed him. The quote was approximately $2,300.00, including all materials. On March 26, 2021, ******* was looking for pay when I thought he was getting with me for a walk through. He asked me if I had concerns, and I told him that I did. All three spots needed more work. He assured me that his workers had missed a few spots and that he would get his guys back to finish the job, He said that I could pay the $300.00 when they finished the job, so I wrote a check, #**** for $2,000.00 on March 26, 2021. On March 29, 2021, I texted ******* and asked when he could come back to finish the floors. He asked me to touch base with him Thursday, then he would know more about next week schedule. The following Saturday, ******* stated that he had gotten into a deep mess on another job and opened a can of worms and stated that he had not forgotten. I said, okay. Friday, April 23, I texted *******, again asking when he could come. He stated that he had made out a list of jobs to do, and that my name was still on the list, and asked me to be patient with him, if possible, but he understood if I couldn’t, whatever that meant. Friday, May 7, 2021, I again texted ******* asking when he could finish the job. He then replied that he had taken $300.00 off the invoice until he got back with me and promised me that I was on his list and as soon as he could get freed up, he would get me taken care of, and asked me to keep reaching out to him and maybe he could fit me in between calls one day. May 13, 24, June 11, 23, 2021, I reached out to *******. ******* has not tried to resolve the issue.
