    Pattern of Complaint:

    According to information in BBB files, this company has a pattern of complaints alleging customer service issues, delivery issues, contract and refund issues.  Specifically, the complaints allege consumers scheduled moving services on the company's website and by telephone. Consumer complaints indicate once the move is scheduled the company gives a verbal quote and requests a $50 deposit and would not go forward with the scheduled move without a credit card on file; but that the deposit would be deducted from the final invoice. Some movers are reporting issues with hidden fees charged to their credit card.  

    Customer complaints report Spyder employees present customer with a blank sheet requesting the time of arrival and departure to be entered along with their signature. Customers also report the movers are late on arrival to begin the move by 2-4 hours. Some customers further report when they ask the movers for a receipt or a copy of the invoice, movers state merchant does not give copies, customers report making pictures with telephone camera. Some customers report when the final receipt is received, the merchant had altered the invoice and changed what the customer had written and agreed to pay. 

    Many customer complaints are reporting issues of damage to furniture during the move, and difficulty dealing with the business due to horrible communication, and rude behavior. Customers also report company is not properly prepared for the move, arriving in moving trucks which are too small, no supplies dollies, boxes, etc.   

    On December 27, 2019, BBB contacted the company seeking their voluntary cooperation in eliminating the pattern of complaints. 

    "Despite BBB's attempt to gain this business' voluntary cooperation in addressing the pattern of complaint, the company failed to respond."

      The business my bank account $520 completely unauthorized. My account is now in overdraft and will continue to take more and more money out as the week goes by and I get paid on 6/10/2022 and the money was stolen from my account 6/4/2022. I am not the first person they have done this to and I probably won’t be the last. They need to be SHUT DOWN. All their real reviews are on yelp ;and all of Spyder’s One star Google reviews are they same as mine. Money stolen and they won’t call you back or answer their calls.

      I scheduled date and time with this company the original time was 0800 but we talked the day before on 3/27/22 to reschedule time at 1100. On 3/28/22 1100 came no one called 1200 came no one called 1300 came no one called I began sending emails, voicemails, and phone calls after 1:30 I continued to call no one answered so I assumed that I was scammed I began doing a lil research and reviews stated this company does this often. So I had began my search to another company another stated they could get me in and they had better reviews so I booked them. I received a phone call after 3 and told them I had to book someone because you all didn’t come or notify of arriving late. This by far so much of unprofessional and not living up to the business

      I had to screenshot a pending transaction I did not authorize. I was suppose to sign a credit authorization form I never signed it and it was never sent to my email

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is unsatisfactory to me.  I will not call this business because everything this company says over the phone is a lie we can communicate via email to resolve this matter.

      I was quoted 150 an hour for moving. I paid that amount with the start and end time being 6 hours. The moving company charged me for 11 hours after the signed document. I have a picture of the start and stop time with everything included and they still charged me an additional $450.00 and an additional $150.00 for a deposit that was never refunded. The start time of the move was 8:45 and the stop time was 2:39. The $150 I paid was for the first hour and if I canceled the move I would lose the $150. I paid the merchant $900 and they charged me an additional $600. This was all included no additional truck fees not additional trip fees or anything. I took a picture of the receipt when they finished because they stated they don't have any receipts and all I could do was take a picture so no more charges would occur but they did.

      The charges for the hours worked were billed accordingly. The work was completed in full, without any issues. We do not provide refunds with no valid reasons

      We scheduled a move on at 8:00 AM. By 8:00 They still had not shown up. I called several times to see where they were but could not get a response. Finally about 2 1/2 hours later a driver called to let me know that they were on their way. At that time I canceled the move because the time frame of my availability had passed. They went ahead and charged my card for the deposit of $150.00 and a few days later they charged me an additional $450.00. I have called several times to request a refund but can not get anyone to answer.

      Hello, the move was cancelled after the crew had been dispatched to the job and already en route, therefore, the deposit is non refundable
