Very good new movers, they are polite and knowleadgeble of their work, with great work ethics. Will highly recommend them to anyone looking to move!

7-7-22 Don't do it! Run to another moving service as fast as you can! The price may seem cheap but there are hidden costs that they don't disclose to you up front. And then they have your stuff and you have no recourse. The original quote was $6,700.00, then they pick up your stuff, confirm the delivery with the drivers for the next day and then they don't show up at the scheduled time. I made all the arrangements as I was on a tight timeline and they didn’t show up. I received an emailed invoice from Spyder Moving Services first thing on the day of the delivery saying my belongings were “supposed” to arrive but now there is an additional $3,000.00 fuel fee and $248.00 packing charge. Oh, and did I tell you that the money needs to be sent as a wire transfer. The gentleman at the Hattiesburg office did not share any information about the additional charges or that the shipping payment needed to be a wire transfer. Then when I received the information about the wire transfer, he gave the incorrect routing number, thus delaying the money transfer until after the 4th of July weekend. But the story doesn't end there. Then the drivers arrive and refuse to unpack the truck because now we owe a holding charge of $4,100 because they had to keep my belongings on the truck over the holiday weekend. Again, their fault for not giving the corredct information. They literally held my belongings as hostage. Once I wired the last payment, they unloaded my stuff on the condo dock. They had no dolly to move any of the large items. I had to go out and buy one. The boxes were a mess. My leather sofa ripped an stained with oil. My computer monitor smashed. I can't wait to open the rest of the boxes. I left my belongings in their care in hopes of an easy move. This has been a nightmare! I am ill. I asked for paperwork so that I can submit it for reimbursement and they have provided nothing. Very sneaky, very devious! This business should be shut down a.s.a.p!

Please take my advice. Use a different moving company. The hourly rate was very competitive ($170/hr) so I chose this moving company. I made a serious mistake. It took them 8 hours to move a 1 person residence (just myself) 5 minutes down the road. My nightmare started when I noticed a mysterious withdrawal in my checking account a few days after the move. One of the movers had taken my checkbook out of my bedside hutch and fraudulently written a check. I spent endless hours the week following closing bank accounts, moving direct deposits and automatic payments, and getting new debit cards. I entrusted this moving company to enter my home and safely move me, and they sent this criminal to my home that stole money from my checking account. I am still in the process of getting these accounts and payments corrected 3 weeks later. I promise you that other moving companies may be $10-$20 more an hour, but it will be worth it to avoid what I have gone through. Please learn from my mistake and chose someone else.

Please do not do business with this company. WARNING!!! It is a total ripoff!!! Emailed contract and did not have an accurate breakdown of hours of which I was paying for….. (8 hours) minimum. However used 2 of the hours for travel to and from Oxford which was not stated on contract. Withdrew payment from credit card before the job was started and completed. Later, sent an invoice for additional money , not showing what the additional money was for … a Total Rip Off!!! If your credit card is on file , RED FLAG !! The owner **** takes money that was not authorized! Please monitor your account! This company is a total SCAM!!! I beg you ! Stay away! He’s being reported to BBB !!! Stay away!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. ON MAY 6, 2022 I HIRED THEM TO PICKUP FURNITURE AND STORE IT. THEY GIVE YOU THE RUN AROUND ASKING FOR MORE MONEY WHILE HOLDING YOUR FURNITURE HOSTAGE. THEY ARE HORRIBLE...THROUGH ALL OF MY FURNITURE OUT LIKE TRASH BUT BEFORE THAT THE WORKERS ARE ALLOW TO GET WHATEVER THEY WANT. 60% OF MY FURNITURE MISSING....THIS COMPANY IS A RIP OFF....

Negative Stars!! SCAM!! They move your stuff on their truck in an undisclosed location and hold it ransom until you pay the invoice that they send you after they have your things locked on their truck in a hidden location. But they haven't finished the job so how do you know how much it will cost? The invoice demands double the over-the-phone quote from surcharges and fees. He doesn't disclose until the time of Move-In-Day that the payment HAS to made ONLY via two methods: wire transfer or cash app. The contract clearly states that you can pay by multiple methods such as credit card (on file), cash, debit, check, etc. Then he refused to let me know where my things are, meet a mover at the trucks location, or even meet the owner at his location and pay cash. They have no business location or store front. He refuses to let the driver take a picture of my stuff on the truck. They take your belongings and then lock them up and you don't know where they are until you do a wire transfer or cash app transfer ONLY. Well how can they be open and move people on the weekend if Wire Transfers cant be made by banks on the weekend? The owner couldn't use Western Union (no business name), paypal, and wouldn't take cash. I could not pay with CASH APP since it takes 24 hours to review your credentials. So how do you pay? Had to find their location through tips and demand our belongings back. Only then did he let his movers allow me to pay them cash (48 hours later) for the one day they moved us out and over night fee $940. I had to hire another moving company to get our belongings off their truck and move us. The second moving company took a check no problem. It should be illegal to hold people's belongings and not disclose where they are.

Recent experience with this company is not worthy of an F-. Long story short is an agreement and a deposit was made at least 30 days prior to moving day. The job was explained in full detail and the allotted time of the job was discussed as well. Red Flag number one: Less than 12 hours prior to set moving time they contacted us for additional credit card information. Red flag number two: 45 minutes prior to moving time, we were contacted and notified that credit card capabilities were down and they need to be paid prior to the job being done in cash. What person in their right mind would agree to such an arrangement. Needless to say, even though we had taken off of work to get moved, we scrambled to find another moving service that we pray will be 200% better than this company. I am 60 years old and in that time this is the first negative review I have ever written because negative reviews are generally not 100% accurate. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

BUYER BEWARE. Terrible, lying company with misleading quotes. Asked for a quote on a move from a 10 x 10 storage unit (that's 1/2 full) to an apartment on the 3rd floor (7 miles). Got told that it was $150/hr with a minimum of 3 hours, no extra charges. Before I put down a deposit, I called around to see what other companies are charging and decided on Spyder. The night before my move, I get a text message asking me to sign a contract. Okay, no problem until I read the contract. EIGHT HOURS MINIMUM WORK???? The ****?? Anybody who thinks I'm about to pay $1200 to move 4 pieces of furniture has lost their **** minds. I paid $1300 to move said furniture and 10 boxes from Washington DC to TN 1.5 years ago and you are telling me a local move with less pieces is the same price??? The ****? Man on the phone talking about traveling cost. Where the **** you traveling from homey? That is not a good value at all. Now I'm out $150 from a deposit I know I'm not going to get back and I'm stuck looking for another moving company on the day I'm supposed to move (rolling eyes).
