If you are a father that wants to dress shop with your daughter you may want to choose a different store! I help my daughter dress shop every year and she loves for me to be involved. We were greeted as we walked in the door and was ask about price range and color she wanted. As we walked to the rack to look at dresses I was ask to please go back to the front of the store because there are dressing rooms everywhere in the main area of the store. My wife could shop with her but not me. So how is a dad supposed to shop with his daughter at this store? The girl went through the rack and picked the dresses she thought my daughter would like. I'll never spend over 500 on a dress without even being able to look on the rack at all they have to offer. It also makes no sense to make me stay by the front door! Because If you see the lay out of the store you can still see every dressing room! It's one big room. Trust me when I say this is not a dad friendly store. I went to the truck and my wife let her try on a few but she couldn't get over me being ask to stay by the front door and wouldn't buy anything from them. Sad because we dealt with a lady last year that let me be very involved and we paid good money for dresses in the past there. Never again!! I was made to feel like a creepy guy just for walking into a store to shop with my daughter! Maybe it's time to change the lay out of the store if you don't want guys in the main shopping area due to the placement of your dressing rooms. ??

We are sorry you felt that way. You were not asked to stand by the door as we have a very comfortable area for dads, brothers, boyfriends, etc to sit. We always ask the girls to stand in front of the mirror so their dads, etc can see the dress and be a part. We have fathers that do not appreciate men walking around the store where their daughter's are trying on dresses and may walk out of the dressing room for someone to zip or tie the corset and not be completely dressed. It is a no win situation because in the past, we have had dads ask that we not let other men walk around as their daughters were dressing and then we have one father that has a problem with that. We certainly are available for private appointments where your family will be the only customers in the store and you can walk around anywhere you would like. Please put yourself in others position....I am sure you would not like other men walking around where you daughter may or may not be completely dressed. I am not sure how other stores do this but I am sure there are those out there that don't have a problem with it and I am hoping that you can find that shop. We never made you feel creepy as we are always doing our very best to make sure that everyone feels comfortable in a very Christian like environment. I am very curious for those of you that read this review, how do you feel about men walking around in a dressing area for young ladies when they are given a nice place to sit and see everything that is tried on?
