I had a new cell phone and ear buds to ship to my son in Arvada, Colorado. My son chose a FedEx Office Print & Ship Center for it to be shipped to so they would hold it there and he could pick it up. He did not want to risk it being left at his front door and maybe get stolen. I went to Fast Forward on September 23, 2022 because they deal with FedEx. The employee **** assisted me. She asked what I needed. I told her the phone and ear buds shipped to the FedEx store in Arvada, CO. She gave me the form to fill out for the address. She weighed it and then said you can ship it FedEx for $91 or so, or UPS for $75.66, I said, "But don't I have to use FedEx since it is going to a FedEx store?" She said, "No, you can use any shipper you want to, we do it all the time and UPS is significantly cheaper." I said, "Ok then, I'll use UPS." So it was scheduled to be delivered to the FedEx store in Arvada on Thursday, Sept. 29. My son checked the tracking and it did arrive. He called to ask what was their closing time and let them know he would be there to get it after work. He went to pick it up and was told it was refused because it was shipped by UPS and they only accept deliveries from FedEx. They don't have the capabilities to accept and scan packages from other shippers. I called Mail Fast Forward in Picayune and the same employee **** answered. I told her what happened and she said, "I can't believe that, we ship using other shippers all the time! Well it should be shipped back to us and we can ship it out again." I said, "But using FedEx this time, I'll have to come in to pay the $15 or so difference." She said, "Right, we will call you when it gets here." It arrived back at Mail Fast Forward on Tuesday, Oct. 4. They called me to come pick up my package because it was refused and sent back. The manager said "Why should we have to pay for it, you are the one that chose UPS!" She wanted me to pay the full amount again to ship it back!
