This company is charging my husband $3,000 per month in perpetuity for a baclofen injection in early March, despite the fact that I lost my health insurance and canceled all services on March 22. I cannot get them to stop billing me! I even asked if they could remove the drug from my husband’s bloodstream (a joke). They can’t do that, but apparently they can continue to bill us $3,000 per month forever.Review from Bernice S

Like others, I am a pain patient. Luckily, I have good insurance. I a Have my pump filled about every three months, but they charge per month, even if I don’t have a refill. They bill different amounts every time. In January it was $3,720 and they were paid $2061.50 by my insurance company, I did not use their services that month. I called my insurance company and Medicare, but there were no good answers to why it was so expensive. Without insurance, I could not afford it. My heart breaks for others who don’t have such good insurance.Review from Matt K

If I could give no stars I would. AIS is practicing very suspect billing policies. Before they were aware of my insurance I was being charged $40 per pump fill. As soon as they became aware of my insurance, the pump fill skyrocketed to approximately $1750.00 per fill and my United Healthcare Medicare Advantage plan was paying for most of it, but I was being charged approximately 10% of the bill. I have recently switched to as Medicare Supplement plan (for about $190.00 monthly (which pays the gap between Medicare and the balance). Everything went fine for about 6 months, when suddenly they charged me $85.00 directly. When I called to ask the origin of the charge they said that it was for compounding and filling the prescription. Medicare would not pay for bills direct to me, according to them. Probably because it is not a legitimate charge; the prescription is billed to the ordering pain doctor as it should be. Upon pressing them further for the reason for the charge, they would not offer an explanation. I told my doctor's office and said that AIS was chosen by their home office and he could not change the source, so I am entering a complaint with the home office. He was aware of many past complaints, but had not heard of anything recently; he said their billing practices were very suspect. Stay away from this company. They should be investigated by the FDA, a Senator or someone. I hesitate posting this review for fear of revenge billing by them.Review from Sherry C

I've read these other complaints and agree whole heartedly. ***** *. is in for a rude awakening shortly. I have called AIS quite a few times, starting in 2019. I'm in the process of filing a complaint with my insurance company. I got the same song & dance as the rest of the ladies but persisted until I got what sounded like the truth. These per diem costs are for the pharmacist & her assistants, their building upkeep, electric bills, their weekly federal inspections, their negative air / purified, germ free room and their administration costs. I've been to compound pharmacies in the past and have never had to go back and pay them on top of the medication costs. This is ludicrous. The cost of the medication is approximately $7,585 for 40mg every three months. I have no interaction with them, never have had (until 3/22/2022). I am also being billed $120 a day, for the patient portion cost share (code S9328). According to Dun & Bradstreet, A.I.S. doing business as Bond Pharmacy, has 15 employees across all (2 maybe 3) locations and generates $27.75 million in U.S.D. The consistent thing I'm seeing here is that it's women complaining and it started in 2019. Are they targeting women? I've been assured that if I file for their Financial Assistance Program, I'll be approved at 100%. After reading these complaints, I'm starting to reconsider their F.A.P. The next time you see your doctor, bring your bills with you, insist that the Dr. reconsider who he's doing business with. Somebody has to be getting a kick-back. Tell A.I.S. you want a detailed, itemized bill. None of this per diem crap, a line by line itemized bill. Or you're taking it to your local news problem shooter. Or your senator. Whoever will listen. Good luck. Keep pushing for answers. File an appeal or complaint with your insurer or Medicare / Medicaid or both. Start a Paper Trail, phone calls are problematic but keep track of who & when you talked to A.I.S.Review from Patricia B

As of 01/01/2022 my insurance company was billed for and paid a part of a per diem of $120.00 . I must pay the remaining amount. The remainder equals $8.80 a day. Doesn't sound like that much but figure $8.80 a day per a year. I get $950. a month S.S. and have many other drugs I take. I was never told of this but found it when signing on to my Medicare Advantage insurance site to check another claim. First time I saw **** Pharmacy it was listed was after a refill last year. Until then I had never even heard of them and did not know until now that they were same as AIS. The only amount at that time was normal refill amount that I always paid svery 5 1/2 months. Due to a problem tolerating medication my refill outlasted the expiration until recently. I have had a pain pump for over 10 years and a couple of years ago my doctors office switched to AIS. My M.A. did not cover the only hospital that did refills so I got special permission to have my pain management office do it. My pump was supplied by anothrr pharmacy and when it came time for my replacement pump it was also supplied by a different company. I called **** pharmacy and asked them about this charge. When I asked what the per diem was for I as given a vague answer. Their only Interaction as far as I can figure is sending my doctors office the refill medication. My doctors office sees me every 3 months to check that it is running properly as I am told is required by Illinois law. I must pay a copay as required for this visit same goes for the refill visit, which does not happen to coincide.. I recently hsd my 3 month visit and talked to them and they informed me they can ween me but it will take a visit every couple weeks for about 2 years when my pump bsttery is up to do this. Looks like I may be stuck with owing this but I do not plan on sending them one single penny. iLet them go after the doctors office who signed an agreement for them to supply the refills or the M.A. anyone but me.Review from Jennifer R

This all sounds so similar. I wasn't even given a choice of pharmacy, this is the one the Pain Dr picked and that was it. They(AIS) started sending me outrageous bills, from anything to injections, but they are calling it's intravenous (which it's a shot through syringe straight into my port) then they charged to charging for medical care?? Umm no, I'm at my pain drs office receiving this shot which I had to pay a copay upon entering his office. Now they say they are waiting for my EOB to come out so they know how much they can charge!! I didn't think it worked like that? I assumed companies had billing codes for their services and that was the rate they charged, not the highest rate every month based upon the change in my insurances coverage!? So, went from no bill, to ohh change of policy. I don't and can't work, so they now want to count my spouses income as mine when their income is not my to claim. As well as 2 previous pay stubs or bank statements as proof of income. Well, frankly I have a bank account, that I receive zero income into....so wouldn't that be my income? They also dug up a bill from 3 years ago now telling me that I am responsible for it, even though it was under the patient forgiveness program that I was enrolled in. I believe them to be shady, and change what they say and policy to fit what money they want to claim
