I, ******, **** purchased a 2015 **** Fusion from Extreme Auto on April 24, 2021. On May 10, 2022 the car stop running. I paid ****** and had it towed to Craigens Auto Repair in ******, **. *************. I contacted the warranty company, Superior Protection Plan, at ************** with my VIN # *****************. They wanted to know what the repair company found, A new motor was needed for the car. The warranty company wanted him to tear the motor down. ******** did a diagnostic test but the warranty company wanted more, they were going back and forth until October 2021. They advised me to have it towed to ******** **** South, ************** at my expense of ******. ******** did a diagnostic test on it and the same results was found, a new motor was needed. The warranty company started giving them the same run a round as they gave *********. ******** provided the warranty company with all documents and finding. The warranty company started saying they were not getting the information. ******** stated they were sending the information to the email they provided. I received a call from ********, *******************, stating the car has been there since October and the warranty company would not comply with the finding, therefore they want me to come and get it. Extreme Auto stated it's a 2 year warranty on the car. I did verify the warranty is good. I can't afford to keep towing the car. This car has been towed three times at the rate of ******, and I am still making payments on it. I need the warranty company to have it towed to whomever they want it to be repaired by maybe, they will give them everything they are looking for. I have tried to work this out with the warranty company and the repair shops and i haven't gotten anywhere. We are sorry you are having problems with the warranty company, Extreme Auto sells cars AS/IS and offers a Service agreement (Ext Warranty) on cars under 200k miles. Extreme Auto does not have a service department and does not repair cars. I nor the Manager recall ever talking to *********** about her problem she is having with the warranty company. We are willing to call the warranty company on her behalf to see if we can find out why the claim has not been approved. I think the first step to get help would be to reach out to the dealer management as soon as the problem accured, NOT file a complaint with the BBB against the dealer. If you choose to talk with dealer manager ask for ********.
