We had a claim for a roof that leaked and damage to our carpet and ceiling. The roof was put on by this company, and the ceiling repaired. After a couple of days of rain, the roof began to leak again. I informed ************************* and he said he would try to fix the leak and repair the ceiling damage. He did fix the leak, but after being paid in full by the insurance company, he never returned to fix the ceiling. He has been shown the damage and we have tried to contact him to find out when he would return. He told us he would be there a certain day and then would not show up. He stopped returning texts and calls from both me and my husband. The ceiling looks awful and we will have to find someone else to repair it at our cost if this is not resolved.Business response

This is ************************* owner and operations manger of Elite Construction and Roofing.Unfortunately *************** is leaving out a lot of important details about this situation..After several month of the roof being completed I received a call from her husband ************* about a roof leak.A few days later me and a crew member went out to investigate the situation upon climbing the roof we noticed that the leak was NOT coming from the shingles we installed but a heater pipe (**** PIPE)..We informed the costumer that the **** pipe was in bad shape and needed to be replaced by a **** company. We also informed them that the **** pipe replacement was not including in our contract because the insurance company did not pay for itMr and ************* owed are company over 10K and was threatening us with not paying until the leak was fixed even though it was not are fault..To not escalate the situation I told them that we can seal up there pipe free of charge which we did and it stopped the leak..On my Contract it states that Elite Construction and Roofing is only responsible for work performed..we did not perform any work to their **** pipes so this warranty claim is invalidIf the leak was coming form the shingles we installed we would be more then happy to fix the roof and the ceiling but this is not the case..Customer response

The information provided in the response from Mr. ****** was incorrect, however his work was completely damaged in recent storms and the whole house will be redone again. His work is no longer of consequence and a different company will be providing the new roof, walls, and flooring.
