      I took a Ameritron AL-82 amateur radio amplifier to the Ameritron manufacturing facility in Starkville Ms on about March 31,2023 for repair. I have made numerous phone calls to the technician (I believe his name is ****, but not sure) since then to inquire if the amplifier has been repaired. But Alas! As of this afternoon, August 22,2023 it still is not repaired. I talked to the technician on 8-15-23 and he promised me he would look at it on 8-12-23. But still he has not apparently even touched it. The technician gives me the same story and excuses over and over and over every time I call him.I’m starting to get frustrated. Can you please help me?

      Purchased AME-AL-811 amplifier serial number ***** on 2/6/23. There is a one year warranty, warranty cards submitted. Immediately had problems with amplifier. Called the Ameritron number and was told to send it in for repair. Item was received on 2/23/23. A week later I called to verify receipt and to get information on status. I was told they have no way of checking and I will get an email when they repair it. Two weeks later I called again. Same response. I called for a third time on 3/22/23 and received the same response. This time I asked for confirmation that the device was received and said if it wasn’t I wanted to file a report for lost or stolen item. At this point they verified they had in fact received the amplifier and had all of my contact information. I was told it would be another month before they look at it. I am concerned and want my amplifier repaired and returned in a timely manner.

      I had an electronic device (Model: MFJ-269C) that needed repair, and I contacted the factory service center in July and later in mid-August. They quoted 1-2 week turnaround time. On August 24, 2022, the repair center email stated repair cost as [sic] "parts plus hourly rate plus return shipping. no rma is required. $125 should cover it." On August 29 I mailed the unit to MFJ, and they now have it. On November 16 I inquired about the repair status. On November 17 MFJ replied via email [sic] "Hi *****************, will forward to the repair dept. supervisor. sorry for the delay." I never heard anything from the repair center. On December 1 I wrote: "Still waiting for an update, been almost two weeks. Did you lose my analyzer?" MFJ wrote {sic] "Hi *****************, no sorry. it is still here. the repair shop is severely swamped right now. i will forward to the repair dept. supervisor." Never heard from them this time either. On January 27, 2023 I wrote "Ok, twice now I have gotten replies "I will forward to the repair department supervisor". This is for an item that I was told will take 1-2 weeks to fix, back in July 2022. It is almost February and I haven't received an update since December. My family and I are moving to Hawaii in a month, and that prepaid label will send it to our old address, and it will not forward. If that analyzer cannot be fixed in the next two weeks I need to cancel the label. If, and I mean IF, this ever gets repaired as promised, I will need to prepay for another label with my correct Hawaii address. Is there any update that you can give me on the analyzer?" MFJ replied on January 30 "so sorry for the super long delay. we will work this one into the schedule for this week." I still have not heard any update. I emailed them on February 9, 2023 and no response. I just want the analyzer fixed and sent back to me, as promised.

      Purchased an MFJ-998 AutoTuner via an authorized reseller in October 2021 for $790. The unit never functioned properly, and they suggested I buy a new interface cable, a $39 accessory that does not come with the unit. The unit still didn't work, I tried contacting the service department for weeks, no one ever answers the phone. Finally, I reached them after two months, and they said I had a bad IC chip, they said to save time they would send me the chip and I could replace myself, I agreed; they never sent the chip after waiting another two months. I contacted them again in Sept and demanded my money back, they refused but said I could return the unit for repair under warranty, I agreed. I sent the unit back the first week of Oct, and didn't receive it back until the END of NOV. I opened it up and tried it, exact same problem as before, and I could tell by the way it was wrapped that it had never been opened. I called back to MFJ the last week of Nov, I talked to the customer service manager and he said to return the unit and they would send a new one. I immediately returned the unit, and now its a month later and STILL have not received a replacement. I emailed MFJ and requested the status on the replacement, they provided a tracking number and said I "received it", the tracking number they provided was for my OWN failed unit they sent in Nov.. I replied back to MFJ and provided proof that the tracking number was wrong, and they responded with "okay, let me track this back down.". It has been over a week since that email with no reply., I have sent MFJ two more emails requesting status with no response. I have given up trying to directly resolve this with MJF, after a year I just want a refund of my money. Ii have attached copies of some emails, although a majority of the communication was one the phone.

      Reference to complaint ID ********I will accept the companies response, IF a new operational unit is received in a timely manner, but want to make several things clear for the record:

      1.  The Unit was purchased from an MFJ authorized dealer, ** ***********. The Invoice for the original purpose was included with the return. I did originally contact ** *********** about the problem, but they advised me to contact the manufacturer, MFJ Enterprises. 

      2.  I fully complied with the instructions of the service department and customer service lead  to resolve this problem since day one.  They advised me to return the failed unit and it would be replaced with a new unit. I promptly returned the failed unit, and the company received it three weeks ago. No replacement was sent as promised. 

      3. Contacting the BBB was the last resort taken to resolve this issue. It only occurred after a month had passed with no replacement, and they failed to respond to my emails requesting status.

      In July of 2022 I sent MFJ (an amateur Radio Sales/Repair Service) a MFJ-1270X/TNCX Packet Controller. To this day December 02, 2022, I have not received/nor heard from MFJ as per the repair request. I have contacted MFJ numerous times to no avail. MFJ's representative keeps telling me " we've located your TNC...it is on the repair shelf, awaiting the engeneer's action on weather or not the unit is to be repaired. I belive members of the Amateur Radio Community gave instructions to MFJ, not to repair the componet. I have paid for their product, a warranty...I believe is still attached. The unit became inoperatable...I sent it in for repair....MFJ, now actiing on advise given to them by other Amateur Operators...not to repair...nor contact me in reference to the repair request to have this unit repaired. I do belive...that in all honesty...MFJ's repair technicians....have no intention on repairing my purchased item. They're constantly telling me...that they're backed-logged....or the item in for repair in on a shelf in the repair service area...awaiting the 'go ahead' from an engineer? Their advertised repair time is 6 to 8 weeks. It's been since July of this year to the present. I say again...I do belive that the MFJ's service/repair technicians...for some reason...are not planning on repairing my unit. I've had this same problem with Yaesu and Alinco. I send in purchased items to be repaired and I don't get the items back. Alinco said I did'nt send the item to them...I had the USP reciept to show I did.

      On 9/1/2021 I shipped an MFJ Antenna Analyzer (MFJ-213, HF/6M. 1.8-60MHz Antenna Analyzer New value - $249.95) to the MFJ Customer Support and Repair Facility for evaluation and/or repair. Per USPS tracking (#**********************) and as acknowledged by their customer service agent(s), the item was delivered to the front desk, reception area, or mail room at 11:17 am on September 3, 2021, MFJ Enterprises,300 Industrial Park Rd., STARKVILLE, MS 39759. As of this date and after repeated emails to customer service, I have received no response or information from their repair function or supervisor. Other than acknowledging receipt, I've only having been advised by a customer service representative via email that the repair service is currently a "swamp." While that might be the case, it strikes me as generally customary (especially after two months) for a client to be given updates or some sort of relevant contact from representatives/supervisors of the appropriate repair function, and to fail to do so is completely unacceptable. I've repeatedly reached out to customer service via emails (copies available) with only a bare minimum of responses. **** **** **** *** **** ****** ***** ** **********

      Hello, I'm getting quite a run around from MFJ Enterprises on when I will be getting my radio back that I sent in for warrantee work MFJ service manager says he has no record of, this is the radio I bought from *** *********** in Hamilton. Ohio, that did not work right out of the box, and *** did not have a replacement I contacted MFJ customer service and they sent me a commerical invoice that said it was a power supply and not for my MFJ 9402 radio, It was received, FedEX tracking No. ************ deliverJuly 8th and signed by ****** I was only told by ******* ******, that it was in the Que waiting to be repaired, but I was not given a screen shot to show they have my radio. on July 22nd, Aug 25th I inquired about my 9402 and got no reply, Now they say they never received my radio, but POD of fedEx says Delivered July 8th, signed ******, it's in their warehouse somewhere
