      On 12/28/2023, I contacted American Ironworks **** To install a walk through gate for my backyard existing fence. The quote was a total of $675 and included replacing a bent panel that was part of my existing fence. I paid $336.00 as 50% deposit for the work. I was never given a clear picture of the timeline. Ive been told workers had the flu, been promised numerous times for this work to be done and they were all false promises. Ive been told I would receive a refund since this work never got done. Thats been going since the first of February 2024 and February is nearly gone. Im wanting a refund or Im going to take this to Hinds county justice court.

      On December 19, 2023, two men came to our home to give us a quote on fencing our yard. *********************, quoted a price and told us we had to pay 30% down for cost of materials. My husband wrote him a check for $2520.00. When ask a name to make the check payable to **** told him that he had a business stamp so we could leave it blank. He gave us a contract on American Ironworks legal contract. He left our home, drove straight to our bank and cashed the check. He told us they would start in one week. When that didnt show up, my husband spoke with **** who told us there had been an illness and promised to be ready in two weeks. Two weeks later, still no show. I messaged the company on ********* Someone from American Ironworks named ******* called my husband and told him she was sorry and that they would get someone on this job immediately. A week later I messaged again but this time I got a reply from the company claiming that they were not responsible for my fence. When I told them I would get the law involved, they told me to bring it or shut it. They are scam artist. I hav now learned that they have scammed many people.

      No they did not come do the work. I still do not have a fence. How was I unclear?  He took out money and did not come back to put our fence up.

      We contacted American Iron Works and had a proposal and contract on 3/23/22. The proposal in attached. The job was completed and paid for on May 26,2022. We have contacted the company on numerous occasions to bring back our property (the electrical gate arm opener) that one of the employees can out and took it off and never returned it. We paid too much money for the gates to have too manually open and close daily. We are asking the company to return our electrical gate arm opener and install it back to its original state. Attached is the proposal and the check paid to American Iron Works INC. They have not honored warranties or returned calls or done any follow-up to our gate.

      We purchased the electronic gate from American Ironworks, the gate worked for a couple of weeks. One day we left home so we closed the gate and when we returned it would not open at all. We have called the company more than twenty (20) times and they will not answer the phone or if they do answer the lady will say she will let the owner know and he will get back to us. Nothing has happened and we spent $4000 on this gate. My husband is retired and we can't afford to just lose that kind of money. I constantly call every day and never get an answer.

      I received a contract with American ironworks back in the beginning of June. I talked with him to discuss a price and we both agreed on the gate and price which was (19,500.00). He started on the work on June 15, 2022. He started placing down poles and I wrote a check for ($6,166.00), and next he came back to put up the stands and wrote him another check for ($6,166.00). He stated he was coming back to put up the electric gate. I called him several of times and sent several of text messages. Until he finally replied and stated he would come by to complete the rest of the work, after weeks has past, months has past, and he kept prolonging the job and now it November I haven't heard anything from him. He has my money and hasn't completed the job.

      We have a contract with the customer. We did not take any money up front. When we set the post for the fence we received a 1/3 payment. On putting the fence panels in we received a 1/3 payment. We have the customers gate and the electronics but have not heard back from her concerning hanging them and have not received the 1/3 payment. The customer also mentioned 8ft tall panels. The contract was for 6ft panels and that was what was built and installed

      I used American Ironworks to install solar powered automatic gates and fencing on both of our properties. The work looked so good that I decided to also get solar powered lights installed on our gates. I paid $375.00 to American Ironworks to order and install these solar lights on Jan 5 2022. I had several texts from the company owner stating that they would be out to install several times through Feb and March and to date, I have had no luck on getting our lights installed or a refund of the money that I have already paid. The company has stopped responding to my calls and texts altogether.  I have text the owner, called the company and also text a former employee (who was an employee at the time but now retired). I want my money back. It is $375 each.

      On March 15, 2022, we entered into an agreement to have a wrought iron fence and gate installation with all accessories installed. Before the fence installation was complete, they ran short of material but promised to return the following week to complete the installation. We were told that they would be there to complete the fencing on three different particular dates, they were no shows. We left numerous voice mail messages, text messages and emails with no responses (other than the three mentioned above.) With the gap left in the fence, our property and home are easily vulnerable to anyone trespassing.

      We were given the measurements by Mr. *******. There is a small piece that needs to be put in. Our service tech will be there in A week to ten days to put in in.
