    I went to Blackburn Motor company on Saturday, December 29,2023, attempting to get an oil change. As I am waiting to be serviced, the man who checked me in, ****, approached me and made aware that my oil plug was stripped and he didn't want to take it out and risk not being able to put it back in. He stated he would leave my name and number for ******************* to contact me on January 2, **** (Tuesday), when they would be open again. Tuesday came, Wednesday came and still no call from ***. Thursday morning I contacted ******************* and asked him why he had not called me regarding my issue and he stated he wasn't made aware of the problem. That was quite ironic because he explained my issue to me before I could explain the reason for my call. So either you knew or you didn't. Sounds to me like you knew and you just didn't call me back. Advancing the conversation, he goes on to tell me that parts fail and they aren't to blame for that. Well Blackburn Motor Company are the ONLY ones to every change my oil. Parts don't just strip themselves out, parts are stripped out after excessive force is used to either take it out or put it back in. He calls me with a quote of $500 to fix my problem, but has taken no accountability for stripping my part or even tried to replace. ******************* is the service manager and I feel in my heart that because I am a woman he believes, I don't know anything and is trying to take advantage of me because I'm a woman.

    This company is not completely fair when you have an extended warranty on your vehicle, they charged me $1800 to fix my vehicle when I only was to pay $250 for my deductible with my warranty plan and they did not file a claim with my warranty plan, they said the plan wouldn't pay and when I contacted the plan I was told that it would have paid, especially when it had something to do with my motor, I believe that I was not treated for as a customer and I believe that it was because I was a woman and a black woman at that and I feel they got over on me, that's the reason I pay every month for the extended warranty so I wouldn't have a high bill to pay to get my vehicle fix. I think other customers need to know how I was treated. I feel I was over charged and no proof that all they did was necessary. Please be aware, I was told by others that this business is very prejudices.
