On March 17th, 2024 my girlfriend and I were visiting ****************************** in *********, **. I stopped her car to view the *********************** and put on the hazard lights (we were beside the road near a curve) and this drained her car battery. I first called a ************** to try for help but they were unavailable. I then looked up Roadside Assistance and used the Drive Roadside Assistance Website to request a Car Battery Jump. They put a temporary hold on my card of $199 until the service charge amount would be finalized.I received a call from an individual named ****** from ***************** to see where in the park I was located because he indicated to me that, depending on if I was past the gates, their service truck would be unable to fit through. I told him my location and he said that they would not be able to fit but, for a simple car battery jump, he would be willing to see about bringing out his personal vehicle. While on the phone a man in a Red Dodge Pickup pulled beside us to see what the issue was. While talking to the man, ***************** up. The man in the Pickup was able to give us a quick jump and I immediately called ***************** and told him the good news. He indicated that he had not left yet until he heard back from us and told us everything was cancelled and good on his side. I received no service at all from **** or A to Z Towing, I was assisted by a passerby and properly notified ****/A to Z and was told it was cancelled.A few days later I was charged $199. I reached out to Drive who reached out to A to Z Towing at which time A to Z told them they had traveled out and performed the jump. I was floored. This is a bald face and absolute lie. I tried several times to get this corrected with Drive/A to Z Towing to no avail. I was charged $199 for a service that was never rendered, and the company lied to get this charge. At this point I do not care about the money, only the principle of this company lying, cheating, and stealing.
