My father passed March 24 2022. ******* and sons mortuary handled the services. The insurance paid them in full. They were also paid in full for shipping my fathers cremation remains and death certificates. I’ve reached out to ***** ******* numerous times. 4 weeks ago after calling his cell number he told me he had shipped the death certificates and remains and I should receive them Thursday. I did not receive anything that Thursday and started to reach out to him again the following Friday. To date he has not contacted me and has ignored my attempts in contacting him. To date he has been paid in full for the handling of my Father’s body, shipping of the remains and death certificates and I don’t have any of this. I feel he is taking advantage of the fact that I live in Illinois and not able to visit the funeral home. My only means of communication are phone and my calls and messages are not responded to. Again he has been paid in full but has not honored the contract/agreement. I have made every attempt to reach out to him as well as left messages with the funeral home. Seeing this business will not answer or respond I would greatly appreciate your intervention to call out this non empathy and deception of this business and guidance regarding next steps
