We used the services of Shaffer - Collins Funeral Home for the cremation of my Aunt ***** *****, who expired July 2021. I paid the amount, in full, indicated by **** Shaffer, on the date of the contract we entered into for cremation, with my discover card. I was advised at that time that once the nursing facility closed her account the funds would be transferred to Shaffer - Collins Funeral Home. This transaction took place on 7/20/2021 in the amount of $4009.70, as to date, we have not received that balance back from Shaffer - Collins Funeral Home. I have been attempting to work with **** Schaffer since that date with no resolution. I have documented text messages and verification of the funds transferred from Yazoo City Rehabiltiation and Health on 7/20/21, Check # **** $4009.70 with the information from Regions Bank where Shaffer - Collins Funeral Home made the deposit into there business account
