Ive been living here for a little over a year and I have found black mold in my window seal in bathroom. I also have put in maintenance request and sometimes it takes a while for them to get back to me. I have had people park in my spot that is in my lease,I am now fighting to keep my service dog!Business response

Good afternoon,
The service request for the window seal have been taken care of in early December. All work orders entered were completed within a few days. The work orders are attached with the dates they submitted and resolved along with any notes from the maintenance staff. The maintenance team cleaned the window seal with bleach and then removed the caulk and replaced it. The condensation was determined to be caused by the resident. The resident had the apartment temperature set around 76 degrees inside and the outside temperature was in the single digits.
If we are aware of other residents parking in parking spaces that are paid for by other residents we can have the car towed.
Lastly, we have not charged the resident for the animal fees and deposits. The resident informed us that they have an appointment in January to see the VA doctor. Currently, we do not have the documentation to show the nexus of the residents disability and the need for the animal. We are waiting for the resident to provide additional paperwork after the appointment with their doctor. We have not denied the resident of having the dog onsite. Please see the attachment with the notes from the conversation between management and the resident in December.
