Modern Shop Hub is a scam company. May 2020, I ordered 4 flashlights as gifts - the order took forever to receive. The company did offer, and subsequently gave, a 25% refund for my trouble (by July 2020). This was adequate compensation for the trouble, but I would never recommend this company. Moving forward: Beginning October 2021 (14 months AFTER my last email with them), Modern Shop Hub began charging my credit card $19.99. By the time I realized and disputed it, there was a 2nd charge for $19.99 added to my card for November. I filed a dispute with my credit card company, but Modern Shop Hub responded to them with my information (apparently from my Spring 2020 transaction) - I can only assume Modern Shop Hub was trying to show "proof" of transactions, however, there have been NO (purchase) transactions between me and Modern Shop Hub since May 2020. I tried calling the company's 800# and the call will not go through it rings once and then goes to a busy signal. I called my credit card's fraud security team tonight and found out that Modern Shop Hub had charged my card yet AGAIN for $19.99! I tried to contact the Better Business Bureau about Modern Shop Hub in ********, **, but there is NO record of them, so I am completing this review in order to get them brought to the forefront. Subsequently, I have found several people on another website who have posted experiences that are the exact same issues as I have had with Modern Shop Hub, e.g. others complaining of the issue within the same time frames (also ordered flashlights in spring of 2020 and now getting charges to their accounts without authorization). This company is engaged in FRAUD and it needs to stop!
