            On October 4, BBB received a complaint from a consumer alleging after agreeing to purchase a John Deere backhoe on Craigslist, the seller stated the backhoe was being stored at Commercial Shippers in Montana.  The seller directed the consumer to work with Commercial Shippers as the escrow and transport company to complete the sale.  After the consumer wired the money to Commercial Shippers, they never heard from the consumer or business again.

            BBB found Commercial Shippers does not have a required escrow license or US DOT number to transport vehicles which is a requirement to act as an escrow agent and transporter in the state of Montana and United States of America.  Commercial Shippers is not registered with Montana Secretary of State.  BBB found the advertised address does not belong to Commercial Shippers nor are they located at this address.  BBB found the domain name was recently registered in March of 2018.  BBB does not believe this company physically exists in the state of Montana.  BBB has reached out to the company and is awaiting a response.

            On November 16, 2018, BBB found the business is also operating under Billings Cargo Shipping at https://billings-cargo-shipping.com.

            On November 30, 2018, BBB found the business is also operating under VSN Vehicle Deliveries, advertising a Eugene, Oregon address at https://vsn-auto-deliveries.com.
