    Date of Transaction: Paid on 8/11/2023 $3097.25 for luxury vinyl plank flooring in my home. The business committed to providing me flooring and baseboards. He was scheduled to come on August 9th, 2023 for the baseboards. He never called to say he wasn't showing up. I tried calling and texting him with no response. He is a contractor for ****** flooring so I called them multiple times to help get a resolution and nothing happened. Finally, on Thursday, 8/23/23, after speaking with ****** twice, Shad called me back and said he would be to my house on Friday, 8/24/23, to fix the flooring issues and stair nose in the morning (wouldn't discuss the baseboards). He never showed and texted me at 2:00pm stating his wife was too sick and couldn't come in to fix the issues. He said he would be in on Monday, 8/21, and I confirmed with him that I would see him and he said "yes". He never showed to fix the issues. He also will not communicate with me further or respond about the baseboards after previously committing to do the work. The damage I am referring to is in the pictures attached. The stair nose and gap in the flooring at the top of the stairs was one issue I made Shad aware. There was flooring scratched in two other bedrooms with cut marks on the flooring that need to be replaced. One room has around ***** cuts on the floor. He removed a hallway closet door and did not reinstall it and left 3 vents removed from the wall without putting them back. As stated above, I already paid for the work completed and he needed to have come and fixed it unfinished reinstall of vents and closet doors and then fixed the flooring himself and his crew damaged. He was very frustrated with me in our last phone conversation and not thrilled about helping me. At this point in time I have no desire to work with Shad further and would like a refund for having to hire someone else to complete the work. According to the receipt I also accidentally overpaid him by $97 and need refunded that.
