We contracted ****** from JD Home Services to tile our bathroom shower and kitchen backsplash, along with laying a vinyl floor in our bathroom. Our first problem arose in June when ****** was notified that the bathroom was ready for the floor to be installed. ****** stated that he was too busy and had not agreed to install the floor. Which was not true as he had verbally agreed to install the floor, which forced us to find another contractor at the last moment to do the job. In late July ****** was contacted again by our main contractor notifying him that the kitchen was running behind schedule, but the bathroom shower was ready to be tiled. ****** stated he did not want to break-up the two jobs and that he didn't have time, and would do both when ready. In early September ****** was notified that both kitchen and bathroom were now ready, to which he agreed to install the tile during the second week of October. ****** notified us in the first week of October that he would not be able to make it to our house as planned the following week. A follow-up call on our part to ****** the following week resulted in ****** stating that he wouldn't be able to do our job for three months. At this point we requested our remaining deposit back and/or the materials already purchased by ******. ****** agreed to bring the material to our house and any additional money remaining. Minutes before returning the materials ****** emailed us an invoice which had been changed from the original to reflect less materials owed, to which my wife emailed him back to confront him on the change. My wife then talked to him in person when he dropped off materials on the curb that he changed the invoice and didn't deliver correct items ordered. Of the materials listed in the invoice we still have yet to receive our third shelf, along with the correct metal trim work. ****** was notified on three occasions that the material delivered was incorrect and incomplete, to which he has responded only once.
